You do need to really take into account on what you plan on using it for, what items you plan on putting in there, how it will fit on your vehicle, are you able to lift it yourself or with help. And lastly one of the biggest factor is how are you going to store it. And like mentioned, take into consideration of the the shape of the box. The aerodynamic Thules often starts sloping downwards from midsection to the front. It will greatly be a hindrance on larger items. Could mean a difference for example two carry on luggages and three and four. I have a Yakima Skybox 21 and it doesn't start to slope till pretty far forward which gives me more useable space to work with for larger items. Thule has one about the same cubic feet as the Yakima but that slope made it limiting. Nice looking box, but I need functionality. New is nice. But I bought mine used. Saved a lot of money and I wont cry as much if it gers gets scratched. The gloss Thules look nice but it is gonna look ugly as heck once you get scratches on it.

I have a 2024 Honda Pilot Sport and I thunk that the Force XT would be a good choice. As you mentioned they seem to be very well made and the added storage space would be great for camping. I have ordered a set of crossbars that use the OEM mounting points and I'm assuming that even the larger box will fit on them. Thank you for the excellent video!

I have the motion xt xl. And the gloss has chipped off and looks terrible now. Otherwise, it works fantastic. Just needs a lick or 2 of paint.

Thanks for the video and energy in explaining it. It is just a preference. I like the Motion XT better. One thing to consider when going with XXL size is the distance between the rear crossbar and the trunk door when opened. I read a comment from one guy, complaining that the XXL size is interfering with his Grand Cherokee trunk when opened.
