I have Nothing accept profound RESPECT & Admiration for these guys. It's so nice to see people who aren't afraid of hard work. It's a quality and trait Americans have lost in recent years. I fear Americans will lose all hope of ever recovering what we used to be.

Nice video, but I have doubts about the results, because at 6:09 we see holes in the cylinders and the water circuit. I'm afraid the water circuit is blocked. It would be good to watch a video where he restarts the engine.

26:13 so much work in this head and at the end there’s still a deep separation between two valves for one cylinder that doesn’t exist at any other cylinder bore, it also has smaller valve seats (look at the separation between the rest of the valves and these two); was it an oversight or is there a special piston in the block at that location??
@10OZDuster

nah it was bad editing wrong sequence of video clips./ missing incomplete video coverage of sequence etc...these guys are the best of what they do for little money no one in the west would attempt to do no oversight !
@cameronlilly4814
@cameronlilly4814 Жыл бұрын
The relief between the valves was still present in one cylinder, but not the others as these had been built-up by welding. Hopefully they cut similar reliefs for the other cylinders when they cut the valve seats. The job wasn't finished at the end of the video yet as the seats had not yet been cut -only the seats installed.

very interesting ...... especially that it's cost effective to repair. Seems like a design flaw unless those busses were running low on coolant and oil. I dunno. Seems like heating up the entire piece is the key to NOT REcracking the part when fixing it
