Win we got our first horse Jodi my mom put me on her bareback. She didn’t flinch just lifted her rump up and threw me off. But she turned out to be my best friend as. A kid I was six or seven when we got her. When I was nine my mother m was out late and if I got scared I could walk up the hill to pasture she was in and climb on her back and go to sleep. She would stand there quietly until she saw my moms truck coming down the road then paw the ground to let me know it was time to go. So I would give her a kiss and run back home so I wouldn’t get back n trouble. I loved that horse and her son too God bless all

Most horses are incredibly cooperative with people they know who do not hurt or scare them. Those who are not have likely been abused. I would argue that thoroughbreds are the most dangerous, or at least, unpredictable. (they don't get ridden nearly as much) So their genetics are more important than the horse's training. I've worked around cows, and horses......all of which mightily outweigh me. STILL trust them 100% over humans.

I never had formal training for horses. However, my aunt did and had a few. She bought Cincinnati Red, he was a racehorse, her daughter trained him to be a show horse. He would not let any males on his back. The 1st summer I spent with them. They taught me to ride a pony. Red was beautiful and I wanted to ride him. My aunt always said no but one day my cousin let me try with him inside a fenced area. I think she expected him to throw me off, but he was very gentle. I would ride him with a western saddle, but he would let me sit without a saddle, or lay on top. It was a very relax way to take a nap. If he wanted me off he would stomp his foot and throw his head up and down. I di not always know why he wanted me off, but I would always get off. Sometimes he would stay there and let me pet him, other times he would run out to pasture. I worked the stables during the summer and loved it.. The animals were always great unless they were mistreated. Yes, I would trust almost any horse over people.

Seems to me you think all horses are dangerous. Wrong. People make horses mean. They are not born mean. People who treat horses bad is what makes them mean. It's the same with any animal. Treat them with kindness and love and you have a good animal. Guess your next video will be all dogs and cats are dangerous.

Any horse regardless of breed in the wrong hands can be dangerous. I was raised around horses, never had a problem with any of them. We got three mustangs in 1978. Best horses we ever had.

IMHO is this nonsense. I've owned many of these breeds: Arabians, QHs, Thoroughbreds and many mixed breeds. Any time a 150 lb person works with a 1200 animal, things will happen, it's not a matter of if but a matter of when. Any horse, regardless of size, can be dangerous if abused, mistreated or neglected. I would trust any of the horses I've owned more than I would trust most humans.

This is silly. Any horse can be potentially dangerous. Not related to illnesses. None of the bad behaviors shown was a result of any condition or illness. In fact, many were deliberately responding to the trainer's cues. Absolutely ridiculous. And the clip of a Przewalski's horse when talking of the Paso Fino is even sillier.

Any horse can be made to be dangerous. It is the humans that cause it. This is a very misleading video and has some misinformation in it. We have a foxtrotter/qh/draft cross and a TB/arab cross as well as a hackney pony cross. We slso had a Saddlebred who was amazing. All are good boys. Horses take the time it takes. You can't rush training.

Looks like Tennessee Walker owners/ trainers are still strapping monster ugly “ buckets to the hooves of show horses in spite of condemnation. Joined today by super long tails that get stepped on when the horse backs up. Both practices reveal much about the owner/handlers as well as judges who reward such practices. Not to mention the overbent head carriage and short rein curb bit. Stop rewarding crualty

DON’T EVER BLAME THE ANIMALS for what humans are creating, doing, miss treating and wrongfully learning them!! The breeds aren’t more or less dangerous than the other!! It’s ALL in the hands of the people who are handling, “caring”, shaping and training them to make them what they’ve become! Just like dogs! NONE of these horses are misbehaved, some are wrongfully handled, most are well behaved and trained to do as they do on cue or acting normal to the situations. It’s the hands and minds of humans who is the dangerous part, the incredible big stupidity and lack of knowledge that leads to destroying animals life’s and creating accidents! The use of chemicals or devices to the horse"s legs in SOARING is repulsive. BTW, Fact: Since 2019 ANIMAL ABUSE IS A FEDERAL CRIME. A Felony not a misdemeanor, and yes, federal, all fifty states. I think what they do to TN Waking Horses is animal abuse. That is my opinion, think whatever you want.
