I actually encountered Villeneuve when he made a surprise appearance to a packed audience for Dune part 1 a few weeks ago. Even after seeing Dune part two I am still in shock that I actually saw one of the GOATS of modern cinema with my own eyes. He was only able to speak for a few minutes before leaving.

Thank you for this video. It seem like you really enjoyed yourself making this one. 57min.. J'ai vue part 2, deux fois deja et j'ai deja hate d'y retourner. C'est vrm agreable de voir que le meilleur Realisateur du 'monde' en ce moment est Quebecois. F*****g right. Thanks again, keep the good work

After watching this one-hour tribute to Denis Villeneuve's work all I can say is that it took a masterpiece like this one to make me understand Villeneuve's contribution to cinema. Comme on dit en français, ça prend un génie pour en reconnaître un autre, ou comme dans ce cas-ci, ça prend un génie pour en faire connaître un autre. You deserve an Oscar for this one Chris!
