My trip to montreal was litterally based on those ideas of european low cost, but turns out, if you dig more you discover that quebec is investing money in their culture because they feel oppressed by canada. when i talked to canadians, they said that the architecture is protected by law as an heritage type of view. When you go to the Banquise, i talked to french-canadians who said that the indians and french canadians are wresling for the survive of their culture simultaneously and its a delicate debate because quebec doesn't want to oppress indians at the same time than show up their culture. Frenchies said that an indian law made by canada is a piece of shit for the diplomatic wellness between quebec and indians on quebec territory. Its really weird to say but quebec is like a country within a federation they said. I would'nt have been able to discussed with french canadians if they were'nt speaking english, thanks to them. I wish i could learn french.

It's true, not only we struggle to preserve our language and culture, but the federal governement is doing everything they can to make sure it disappears. Most Quebecers think that Quebec could keep it's language and culture inside Canada, but i think we'll just become Louisiana 2.

The subtle use of CANADA in USA TV shows started early in the 1950's. Every year of "PERRY MASON``, one plot or script would reference Vancouver, BC Canada because Raymond Burr is from this region, a Canadian that used this placement to name his home. A number one show for many years.
