Obviously not everyone will feel similarly. This is simply the perspective of certain individuals who wanted to share their positive Montreal experience.❤

I agree, everything depends on the mood of the individual that can cause a ripple effect. If I am in a great mood I feel the energy of all the positivity. If I had a bad day I notice the bad parts.

Loved watching this, thank you! I visited Canada for the first time this year for a holiday. By far Montreal was my favourite place I visited!! Such a relaxed vibe and the people are super friendly. Loved it so much, Ive booked a trip for 2024!!

I love Montreal! This video explains a lot of why I like it. The people, the energy and the overall welcoming atmosphere just amazes me! I can't speak French nor can understand it, but they still helped me whenever I need something and obviously some of them struggle to switch to English, but they will try their very best to help you and that's genuine kindness. When I was at a bar and spoke to a random guy who is a Montrealer (and I can pick up he speak French) and he learned I am from Vancouver, for all I thought they will not like me and he just shook my hand and told me that "you are always welcome here in Montreal, brother" and we drank our liquor. Fun times! I always have a great time visiting this city and I look forward to visiting it again that's why I kept my Opus card!

I mean I live in Montreal and while people can be nice, there are a lot of uptight and reserved people here.

Just like anywhere! These are opinions from outsiders sharing what they saw and felt 🙂it’s easier to critique a place when you live there and see downsides more often.

@@DiscoverMontréal I hear you but the only issue I have is people push and shove in the metro. Why are there no basic manners in this city?

I'm in Boston and Montrealers treat us tourists a *lot* better than we treat them down here. As a professional actor down here I wish we treated our visitors better than we do.
