Alberta is to Canada what Texas is to the USA. Lots of work in Alberta and conservative based. Saskatchewan is a little cheaper, but flat and cold. I was born in sk, but moved to Alberta in my teens and never looked back. So if you love guns, freedom, not so much government Alberta is your Provence

It’s like this across the entire country now.. I live just outside Toronto so we have tons of homeless, and all that.. to the point it’s normal to see the odd dead one on the street every so often now… I have family on the East coast in PEI and they tell me it’s basically the same there as well and they’re the smallest province.

Everything that you said about Ontario is the opposite. If you uploaded this 8 years ago, it might still be applicable; but not anymore. Ontario & BC have the highest cost of living. Housing & rentals are skyrocketing day by day because of the lack of supply & high demand. It’s not Canada that I used to know 8 years ago.

I have not reached the end of the video but I'm making this comment first because I don't want to be influenced by it. For me the best province is BC hands down but that's because I am Asian and English speaking. I want to say the best city is Vancouver but the economy there isn't great and cost of living has really spiraled in the last 10-15 years. I quite like Victoria or maybe one of the "suburbs" of greater Vancouver. Calgary is pretty high on the list as well. The worst province for me is Quebec. Ok time to watch the video to the end.

Alberta is way more than Agriculture, oil and gas. Also quite a few more cities than just Calgary. Toronto is getting worse every year. People are leaving the city because it is so expensive to live there. Quebec is getting up there with cost of living along with the taxes. Vancouver Island, yes mild in the winter compared to the rest of Canada but jobs are hard to come by which is why a lot of people retire there.

The Cypress hills might be at a higher elevation than most mountains in Québec, but the vertical drop is nowhere near comparable since the base elevation of those hills in Saskatchewan is around 1100m above sea level; the vertical drop is only around 200 meters. Meanwhile, in Québec, most mountains have between 400 and 600 meters vertical drop, and in some regions like around Québec city and in Gaspésie it's more around 800m to 1000m vertical drop, which isn't small

Summer doesn't seem to follow like all the other provinces. Vancouver Spring time is noticeable in early March whereas the other provinces are about 1 month later. Activities in April starts with Car Free Days where the parts of Vancouver major streets of 10 blocks are for festivals (Vaisacki parade with free food in April, World wide international Dragon Boat races, Taiwanese Festivals, Italian Festival car free day 10 blocks, Greek Festival, Chinatown Festival, Kitsilano Festival, International Festival fire works where 3 different countries compete for the honors to come back next year. Not sure where they got the ‘no traffic is Halifax’ because there certainly is, the infrastructure here is terrible and there is gridlock daily. It took me 40mins yesterday to get somewhere it usually takes me 15 mins to get to 😅

Some information ismisleading. Best to check with people who actually live in Canada. Also, spend enough time in any of these places yourself to form your own opinion, especially if you might be considering the possibility of living there. Being a visitor is not the same as being a resident.

For a six month old video, it isn’t very accurate with regards to Nova Scotia. Lived most of my life here and was born near. As long as you don’t live in Halifax, it’s not too bad.

People from all over Canada are moving to Alberta , Calgary in particular. The cost of living is less than Ontario, Quebec and BC. The proximity to the mountains is great. Calgary is a beautiful city with great neighborhood’s and parks. The technology sector is attracting a large number of companys to Calgary because of the reasons above but also because the work force is one of the youngest and most educated, mainly because of the training for the oil and gas sector. Being just over an hour from one of the most beautiful national parks in the world doesn’t hurt. Banff National park. Also with access to many summer vacation spots in south and central BC. All these things make Calgary a great place to live. Alberta also has many other cities and towns worth checking out. With a competent and caring provincial leader in Danielle Smith, Alberta’s future is looking bright.

British Columbia is gorgeous! You only showed cities like Vancouver and Victoria and completely missed the beautiful 'wide open spaces', the beauties of places like Banff, Lake Louise, the National Parks, the famous ski hills, the northern province where living is less expensive, the Rockies, the amazing wildlife, the Okanagan (Vernon, Kelowna, Penticton, where people are flocking to live) with colorful Kalamalka Lake, International airports, great winter snow sports and summer water sports, fishing and hunting, goldpanning, Entertainment centers, job opportunities--Construction never slowed down for a second during Covid in Kelowna. B.C., a beautiful place to live! And remember--'Life is what YOU make it'! By the way, you never mentioned the Oil in Alberta, which makes it a pretty independently wealthy province!!

BC is extremely expensive to live there. Average rent in Vancouver $2500 a month and that an average apartment nothing special. Even in surrounding areas like Abbotford, Mission fraservalley as it’s called Rents are very high. You won’t get a house under 1/2 million or more. But hey it is beautiful for sure

Manitoba is the best provinces I used to live in. House expense is cheap, lots of beautiful landscapes in Manitoba. Unlike such as Toronto big cities etc. very expensive property cost, ugly human made concrete forest. You only feel out of breath for everyday hard work including weekend overtime work to make a living. Lots of wasting time and money for political elections. For example there is no forum discussing highway 407 free driving again. This is for working class people to save money and can expense more in groceries etc. and finally increasing lots of companies products to sell and finally increase more employment. But there is no politicians talking about it. And capital country Canada encouraged capitalisms bribery government for advantage rights to get ugly extra money. Like Chinese government does!
