Awesome video. You really encourage me to do all the servicing myself and avoid mechanics who don't know crap about Land Rovers. How much oil does the engine fit during replacement? My friend recommended me to use the Liquid Molly 5W40 for the D2. Do you plan on making the coolant replacement video too? Does you D2 have the ACE system? It would be great to learn how to change all the other fluids: gearbox oil, transfer case oil, oil in front end and rear end axles as well as power steering and ACE fluid. Afaik bleeding the ACE pump isn't that easy things to do.

You can use 5W/40 no problem and it takes 7.2 litres of oil. I’ve already done the coolant change which was also simple but I never did a video as I forgot to film it. I don’t have ACE on mine but I do have air suspension which I’m actually replacing today but there is already videos on how to do that. They leak from the rocker gasket down the side and back. That looks the same as mine

Nice job as ever. I recall back in the day putting a screwdriver right through the filter itself to get it off. Scary business, but as a skint teenager on my MK1 Fiesta........had to be done! Couldn't afford a proper filter removal tool.Your way looks so much safer and more professional. 🙂 Thanks Andy.

I did the same thing in my youth Wilf! Couldn’t really afford many tool at all never mind a fancy oil filter removal tool 😂 it got the job done though, just a bit of a clean up operation afterwards 🤷🏻‍♂️ Andy👨🏼‍🔧

I did look at quite a few before this one that were just scrap! Not sure how they got MOTs on them but they were horrendous! I haven’t jumped in a motor just to drive it for pleasure since I had my Vectra Supertouring ☺️
