Discovery 3/4 UNDER £10 Tailgate Actuator!

Land Rover charge around £100 for the Tailgate Actuator.
However, at the time of the D3/4, LR3/4, Ford actually owned Land Rover and therefore used many of their own parts.
This includes the Tailgate Actuator.

This is for the Ford Fiesta MK5/6 and Ford Fusion 2002-2012 BUT it’s also the SAME part that’s used in the Land Rover.
It’s currently selling at just under £10 (brand new!) on eBay.

Brilliant “real life” step-by-step guide. Thanks for pointing me to the Ford actuator, it’s 10x cheaper than the same thing from LR! Can you please do a step-by-step for servicing the air suspension compressor?
