It’s the new perfect fairway. For average / above average arm speeds. S Line FD. Was too flippy. C line fd was too stable. Volt is a 7 or 8 but very inconsistent on plastic to stability Passion is more stable. River i had a burst base one that was perfectly straight but I lost it. I bought a premium one that was super flippy. It feels like, everyone boast disc-mania. Myself included i love discmania and it’s my first choice when picking a disc flight unless I just can’t find it then I branch out,. I hate discraft, but…. I bought a cicada just for the hype. And I hate to say it, but it’s what I wanted my FD to be. Reminds me of the OG c line FD’s that were actually straight and glidy. It’s the only discraft disc I bag. But it’s perfect.

I tested my Cicada out yesterday and had similar results to yours. Very true to the flight numbers for me.

It flies more stable than we thought it would, but it actually flies perfect for the woods imo!

I can't find find any fairway better than my stock neutron Relay for controled backhand. Z Meteor flys similar but 20ft shorter. My 2most used disc on back hand.

Great content guys. I’d like to see a cicada comparison with the leopard3 and the prodigy f5. I have the spectrum air f5 super flippy with power but very easy to power down and get great flight with little effort. I’m currently bagging the cicada 167-69 g and the f5 159g

It’s the River 😐 but for some reason has more fade than when I throw my River flat. I think it’s the plastic most likely being slightly more stable than understable. I might get one of these and try it out against my River… it might be better for even tighter fairway tree shots. Thx for the vid

They are very similar stats. The river is 7/7/-1/1 The cicada is 7/6/-1/1

Just a thought... Open the vid with a couple of quick shots. Or reference a time stamp for the throws. It would draw folks in more. Attention is at a premium. Thank you for the vid and locking in my next purchase

It’s definitely similar, but every river I’ve thrown has been flippier and way less fade. Imo the river flies like 7,7,-1,0
