Discrete Frequency Distributions: Calculating the Variance and Standard Deviation - Part 1

In this video, we consider a Discrete Frequency Distribution and show how to calculate it's Variance and Standard Deviation. in particular, we show the calculations for assuming the distribution represents population data, and also do the calculation if we assume it represents sample data.
