Prof. Dr. Md. Abdur Razzaque completed his PhD degree from Kyung Hee University, South Korea. He obtained his MS in Computer Science and B.Sc. in Applied Physics & Electronics from University of Dhaka. Before joining as a Pro Vice Chancellor of Green University of Bangladesh (GUB), he served the Dept. of Computer Science and Engineering, University of Dhaka, Visiting Professor in Stratford University, USA and Research Professor in Kyung Hee University, South Korea.
He has supervised 3 PhD, 18 MS and 70+ BS research works and he has published 140+ research articles in highly indexed journals and conferences. He has received several awards for his great publications, including the best paper award for “Area Coverage for Clustered Directional Sensor Networks using Voronoi Diagram” in IEEE International WIE Conference on Electrical and Computer Engineering (2015) and “Congestion Detection and Control Strategies for Multipath Routing in Wireless Sensor Networks” in Korea Information Processing Society (KIPS) conference (2009), ISIF Asia Award 2013 (Community Choice category) for the project “Design and Development of Precision Agriculture Information System for Bangladesh, ISIF Asia Award 2013 in the 8th Internet Governance Forum (IGF) 2013, held at Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center. He received the PhD Study Scholarship (IITA) from the Government of Republic of South Korea (2006). He has secured 10+ national and international research project grants as a leader or a member.
Prof. Md. Abdur Razzaque is a Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (#SMIEEE) and has been working as Chair, IEEE Computer Society Bangladesh Chapter Executive Committee during 2020-2021.
