Discrimination features of the Minelab CTX 3030 treasure detector

I purchased mine about ten years ago I think. Best machine out there for me. I'm refreshing since I haven't been out for a few years. But going soon. I had it repaired once and the service was excellent.

Hi Phil, I use the Grey Ghost headphones on my CTX, for some reason I can't get the built in speaker to shut off when using the GG headphones. What can I do to only hear my detector through the headphones only . Thank you and Minlab for creating the best detector I've ever owned ( the CTX 3030 )

I live in Alaska! I think the 7000 was modeled after this for gold. Except its a lot of $$$$$. I would like to concentrate mostly on GOLD nugs, silver, and native findings! What I like most is the LCD on this! I want it, but I'm uncertain of its ability to find high-end minerals? Not looking for tin cans or bullets. What say you? I haven't researched many other brands? I REALLY like this one, except for that one uncertainty. Must get wet is a have too. People's videos only show coin mode every time? Is silver mode for GOLD too? I do like it better than the 800!🤠

hola?saludos minelab detector. tantos vídeos de modos y configuraciones, pero en ingles.soy de chile, compre un ctx a un amigo y hay que aprender mucho de el,no hay que ser sabio para saber que es una maquina poderosa,ya he encontrado muchas cosas,pero quiero mas.

my conundrum here is that I do not consider some iron trash. I am a history hunter or a colonial New England History Hunter. I dig stuff that most get frustrated with but to me it was items that my ancestors used. Junk is beer cans and modern coins.

minelab need to let nel make some coils for the ctx3030 the 17x11 is too heavy the storm or attack coils would be great on the 3030

Thanks for the feedback, The Minelab CTX 17 coil is actually 17" x 13". If this is too heavy you can use the standard CTX 11 or the accessory CTX 06, both are lighter than the CTX 17. NEL are not authorised to make CTX coils. Coiltek are authorised and have a 10" x 5" size available. Gracias por el mensaje. Si usa el CTX 3030 con la bobina CTX 17, este detectará pequeñas monedas de plata de hasta aprox 12-15 pulgadas de profundidad . Para grandes tesoros de oro y plata, el CTX 3030 puede detectarlos a mas profundidad que esto.
