Congrats of the Discus progress, I think the brown one is your female, but that's just my best guess as I didn't see them lay the eggs and you can never be 100% until you do. 1st thing to point out, you can see the fry are trying to attach to your black silicone, they are attracted to black natrually as they think your black silicone strip is their parents by mistake. They should be attaching to the parents like that instead, if they do not figure out this confusion and they often do not, they will starve to death in a few days. As for the popeye, your not doing anything wrong, I am not here to insult or harp on anyone. Discus do not deal with freefloating bacteria in the water colum very well, this is not an issue for most other species of fish, but it IS a big problem for DIscus. It normally shows up as cloudy eyes ( sometimes suttle cloudy eyes), as things get worse you may even see popeye. I discuss this at lenth on my channel, check out my video on " The SECRET to keeping DIscus ALIVE" . The short answer is you need a UV unit 13 watts or higher on the bulb, and you need to run it 24/7 to keep your water colum free floating bacteria clean. All tanks have such bacteria, 98% of species will never be bothered by it, but Discus will be. Hope this helps, have a great day.
