What if Earth is a Single Celled Organism and Humans are one of the Millions of Organelles keeping it alive. Except we are an organelle designed to activate its death sequence. Organelles are stuff like: (1) nucleolus (2) nucleus (3) ribosome (4) vesicle (5) rough endoplasmic reticulum (6) Golgi apparatus (7) cytoskeleton (8) smooth endoplasmic reticulum (9) mitochondria (10) vacuole (11) cytosol (12) lysosome (13) centriole. Earth is probably a plant because most species does photosynthesis and the Animals are Mitochondria. The Ocean is the Vacuole. Lakes and Rivers are Vesicles.

Man, this video, with the topic being discussed, the galactic pictured being shown, and the accompanying music...it just awakens something in my gut, my soul. That basic, human desire that longs to ask...Where did we come from? Why are we here? And most importantly, Are we alone? I would give anything to hop into a warp drive abled spacecraft, and soar through the many galaxies in search of new worlds. The overwhelming feeling of descending into the atmosphere of an alien world, and having everything you thought was "normal" thrown out the window must be absolutely astounding. I wish to feel that one day, but the fact that there's about 0% chance I will in this lifetime is so depressing. In this lifetime, those questions will be answered with nothing more than mere speculation.

I doubt the aliens keeping us appreciate our sense of humor, there's a lot of great comments here that are appropriately sarcastic and shows we know how we really are. I respect that in us, regardless of some uptight aliens. You have to admit the humans despite their flaws, are really creative species. Art, Music, Literature, Stand up comedy.
