After hearing this podcast I am really really saddened. From this podcast I can feel the imminent fall of Vedic religion which currently goes by the name of Hinduism. A boy of eighteen years of age knows nothing about Hinduism,yet prattles about caste discrimination and social injustice and feminism,LGBTQ...R...S....T and all such post-modern stuff! His mind has already been hijacked by the rabid anti Hindu advocates of social engineering groups.I am not surprised at all that he advocates in favour of studying Sociology that emanates from West. He perhaps doesn't know greatest piece of Indian sociology was Vishnu Sharma's Arthashastra. ....And Kamasutra of Vatshyana.He should read Ramayana and Mahbharata at lest five times before he speaks about Hindu society and its future. Because, these two Epics vividly presents in minute details how the miniscule Vedic tribes coalesced into bigger form of adminstrative political unit(Raja,Maharaja,Samrat) without ever trying to dog-collaring these socially diverse tribes into one single social architecture and social mores.That was a marvel! That's why we find so much diversity under one civilisational canopy. Where there are so much of diversities there is bound to be internal clashes seeking to capture a piece of power pie. Sociology is that branch of study which helps us to understand the mechanism through which access to power is determined within a society. What else other than these ancient texts can help us understand these mechanisms that determined the access to power in the Vedic societies. These organic fusion of tribal societies was quite different from Greek societies. Therefore Plato can not help us understand our society. But Western scholarships have imposed Plato on us, and our Courts read Plato's Laws into our justice system. India didn't ever had any God given Laws as in ancient Greece. This is a fatal blow to Hindu society that we inherited at the time of Our so called Independence. In India it wasn't Law but Dharma that ruled and every section of our society used to be governed by their respective Dharma. Any violation in that attracted punishment and it was primarily determined by the society , not by the Rajah. This was abandoned when the likes of Ram mohan Roy and Vidyasagar invited British East India Governor General to directly intervene in our Society. British Rulers used that opportunity to the hilt to control the narrative and brought out all those horror stories of casteism and evils of Sati and what not to justify their intervention. Temples were at the centre of our economy,our education. our health system. Those temples were taken over by them destroying our education system. It is nothing strange that this boy didn't know anything about our past till very recently before his acquaintance with your channel. It really makes me sad.

Bramhin son is not bramhin, khatriya son is not khatriya, vashay son is not vashy, sudra son is not sudra by birth but they all in their own caste by birth. And caste discrimination is not caste discrimination its profession discrimination. A particular caste had their own profession, why kumhar never did lohars job. If u want to really understand caste system then think on Sudras profession & discrimination in between them.
