Love to watch Zach and Don interacting! Lots of this goes right over my head but that just means I need to listen again a few more times. Good job, men!

What Don says at 20:40ff….I agree 100%. We do not appreciate half of what is being said because we are so far removed. I think this is so important to understand.

Paul in Galatians says they are all "sons" of Abraham. (Three - seven) He did that on purpose.... Sons inherit! Great conversation... really enjoyed that.

Hey big bro what do I do with genesis 13:15. I give your offspring this land forever. I agree with you on the topic of the land. But what do I do with this scripture?? Thanks

Eph 2:11-14. Speaks about you Gentiles formerly in the flesh (v11) have been brought near. I think these scriptures would be good to review also. And, would the middle wall / the barrier of the fence, (v14) be a reference to the wall that separated the Gentiles from the Jews in the Temple; which was physically taken down AD 70??

Would really appreciate a response to this question: within the covenant creation paradigm; if Adam was not the first man, did mankind sin before Adam? We can’t mess this one up.

@ but sin entered the world through Adam. This is Christianity 101. “Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, so also death was passed on to all men, because all sinned.” Romans 5:12

What exactly do you mean by covenant transformation? Don uses this term repeatedly but never nails down what he means by it. The new covenant was laid down in Acts 2. What was it transformed into?
@zachdavis388211 күн бұрын
It isn’t established in full until the law is fulfilled
@johnrosness293211 күн бұрын
How was it not established in full? Those who responded in Acts 2 were given forgiveness of sins and the gift of the Holy Spirit. They were no longer under law at that point. What were they still missing?

Watched the video. You are correct they were awaiting their full adoption in Romans 8:23, meaning the redemption of their bodies but you fail to acknowledge what that actually means - bodily resurrection.

Paul doesn't say he is helping Jesus bring in the new covenant. He says that those who believe the gospel, which is his ministry, are brought into the light of Christ, which is the new covenant.

This is why I think it's wrong to be too hard on Messianic Jews and The Hebrew roots folks. They actually have seen something.. they don't recognize that it ended but they do recognize that the New testament writings show Torah observance

Who is Paul?? To the Rabbies Paul was a rebel and a liar, / But I think he was chosen by G-D to be the 12 Desciple. Ezekiel 37 is to reunite the two houses into heaven. from Ezekiel 37:20-28 is in heaven and G-D replaced LEVI as priest. But for the Samaritan // I Quot > (m. NID.4:)35 The daughter of the Sadducees, so long as they are in the habit of walking in the paths of their fathers, are to be regarded as Samaritan women. If they left those paths to walk in the paths of ISRAEL, they are to be regarded as ISRAELITISH women.). Samaritan is of mixed blood as was the woman at the will but she was a of Israel. == NOW in / ( John 8:48), Jews said unto Jesus say we not well that thou art a Samaritan and hast a Devil. Now Jesus addressed this but NOT about being a Samaritan, HE WAS. his mother was a Daughters of Aaron ( Zadok ) mix of Judah & Levi, ( Exodus 6:23-25 ) Amminadab was the prince of Judah. ( Jesus is a mix of Judah & Levi) of Order MELCHI - ZADOK. (Hebrews 7:11-28). Shabbat Shalom. P.S. It is not midrash / but midrush.

I'm glad I heard that about the Australian fellow. I'm charismatic too (I'm not particularly thrilled with charismatic television but I'm not a cessationist) . There's nothing about preterism that denies the continuation of the spiritual gifts. I can see where one might like to smuggle in their cessationism from their dispensational background or their reformed background, but it's not necessary ".. I will be with you to the end of the age... (As the gifts)..." Is a REAL stretch of colossal proportions. I saw in a Dr. Michael Brown debate where he described being at a prayer meeting or a similar event and he absolutely felt that the Lord was telling him to walk up to a perfect stranger and say something this incredibly nutty: " The Lord wanted me to tell you that he hates mommies and daddies" ... Can you imagine ? He walked up embarrassed and prepped the statement by saying.... you know what I don't know what this means, but I feel like I'd be disobedient if I didn't say this to you the Lord really wants me to tell you (My paraphrase of his explanation of embarrassment, etc)... Then he told this woman who was a stranger that "God hates mommies and daddies". and she began to sob. Her pervert father used to rape her when she was a child and say let's play mommies and daddies before he started. Unless you want to call Michael Brown a bald-faced liar I'd love to hear how that can be explained as not spiritual gift, probably word of knowledge or word of wisdom in action today. You don't have to ask many people to find something like that. It's not all that rare, look up the words of wisdom or word of knowledge that Charles spurgeon fairly regularly had in his church.

Good luck in the real world. But of course that event and all those that have happened to others can't hold a candle to your torturing of "face-to-face" meaning something that it probably doesn't, but must to support full preterism

Either exegete the Bible or look for another comment section to trash someone in. You’ll skip the comment because you can’t do anything with it. This is a perfect example of picking a fight then realizing you don’t want any part of it. Preterism is a paradigm you’ve not given much thought to, yet you come here looking for trouble. That friend is hubris. Take care.
