I survived. My favorite conspiracy theory is the Mandela Effect. Would love to know if you guys experienced it. Also I belive in free will. The most simple example would be the fact that we dont act on our intrusive thoughts. Most of us are capable of controlling ourselves to not act on our intrusive thoughts which otherwise would lead to deadly consequences. If we have free will in that respect, we also do have free will in all other aspects of life. We just fail to recognise it. There is free will in evry single point of our life. Even if you were compelled to take a wrong decision outside of your free will, you still have free will to convert that wrong decision to a right one with smart moves. It's just that most of us already assume failure and give up after that 'wrong' decision and stop looking or rather applying free will after that instant.

Toanswer chonky at 33:09 The way i think about is that, God knows everything yes, but since he is omni potient and all knowing. He knows all the outcomes of all the choices you can take possibly. Just as in a game its all pre destined , but which destiny you choose to make for yourself is up to you and your free will. Hence the concept of Hell and Heaven in all religions.,

I'm with ponky on free will topic. Games on our phones 10 year back were just a dot and a line (snake game). If in just 10 years we are making games nowadays almost like a realistic world (Red dead redemption, far cry, gta 5). So if in 10 yrs the growth is this multiple imagine the growth in universe scale. In billion years it's not hard to create such a simulation where characters can think and question their existence. It's not that hard.

i think chonky is wrong about our end point being fixed , it is fixed but not absolute it is more like the limit concept in math , our fixed end point has both upper limit and lower limit , so theoretically if you make the objective right decisions in life you will reach your upper limit fixed point and if you make wrong decisions you'll reach your lower limit fixed end point . life is like the goosebumps novel series by R.L. Stine it has multiple endings based on the choices we make in our story . but yea free will is a myth. && about you being sad and grumpy for no reason chances are its not that deep and you just have vit. Chonky's question is good... but I believe we have free will, and god only knows what we are gonna do, he doesn't influence it. suppose you are on a cross road with roads A B C D and you choose B, now you are not going to choose B bcz God wrote it but God wrote it bcz He knew u were going to choose B. This arises a question, "if god knows everything, why make me suffer on earth, just put us all wherever we would go." This has a very good answer... I'll answer this question if someone is actually reading this, no point talking to a wall.

I think free will and god's plan work simultaneously. These ideas coincide they can't exist without one other. For example, If I want to become or its my choice to be an engineer in life (what do we refer to it as? Its simply free will) For me to make it happen, I need to qualify some competitive exams like Jee. But as I move forward in my journey there comes a point (A month before the exams, happened to me previous year) where I don't want to study but I still want to be an engineer. See it like in way, that why wasn't I studying, because I was getting distracted by mind (dopamine) to do the things which gave me pleasure like using mobile phone. Now tell me who made the mind, yes God made it. So, therefore you may come to an conclusion that it was God's will, but wait a minute It was also my will to do the things which gave me pleasure (pleasure is thing which makes us do the choices imo). One last thing, was it I who made the choice to write this comment or was I determined to do according to God's plan but Imo it was both's (yes, it really give me joy to write this)❤
