This संवाद was recorded at a beautiful homestay in Varanasi - Ratnakar Bhawan. Special thanks are due to Ratnakar family, especially Rahul & his mother for facilitating this. Check out RATNAKAR BHAWAN (HERITAGE HOMESTAY), Varanasi on MakeMyTrip: app.mmyt.co/Xm2V/2wmlcl5b.
Gyaneshwer Chaubey, a biological anthropologist, has dedicated his research career to unraveling the mysteries of human migration and population dynamics. Beginning as a Ph.D. student at the Estonian Biocentre and University of Tartu in Estonia, he later held positions as a scientist and senior scientist. He also served as a visiting scientist at the Sanger Centre in the United Kingdom.
In 2017, he returned to India, assuming the role of a full professor in the Department of Zoology at Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi. Chaubey's research primarily focuses on understanding the peopling of South and Southeast Asia, with a keen interest in various ethnic groups such as the Andaman, Austroasiatic, Indian Jews, Siddi, Roma, and Parsis. Employing a combination of genetic markers and computational tools, he investigates the impacts of migration, genetic drift, and selection on the demographic history of South Asia while also contributing to the development of new analytical methodologies.

1:05:00 But Dr. Niraj Rai Sir, surely explained that we are moving to a disease burdened country. Specially this burden is more on few castes. He gave examples of Vaishya community that are more susceptible to side effects of Anesthesia. And inter caste marriages is the savior for this issue. 1. I feel, as we have a clause in Income Tax Deduction for Donation and everyone can claim the deduction, Similarly, Govt. should define a clause for donation and tax deduction claims for the funding of research institutions. Which can be so defined by the Institute Name and the Research title. This clause should be at all levels of income group. In this way atleast govt. can help funding of the scientific research whether it is case of Genetics, Archaeology etc. 2. Also, this study of our ancestry will be the greater one to ultimately end the caste divisions. Which will be beneficial for the society.

The migration pattern of rors, aata-saata custom, some exclusive marwari words in your dialect and most importantly the DNA reports are enough to prove you're an offshoot. The only thing that's debatable is the timeline when you branched off. Even bishnois say they are different, but thankfully we have enough evidence to know when and how they were formed. Even your so called new gen scientist Anurag Kadian has admitted rors and Jats had same ancestors. It's only the terminology that they use to project how different they are from Jats when it essentially means that there is so much possibility of them steering a different path out of Jat fold.

Ahoms did not come from Thailand. Ahoms came from mong mao which is a place in yunan in southern China. They took 12-13 years to travel from that area to Assam through the tai-Shan ruled states of upper Burma. Many tai groups originated from that area in southern China that migrated into various south East Asian countries such as Vietnam, Laos, Burma . And that is not the first time that a population moved from those areas to Assam or north East, older northeastern ancient kingdoms had trading and relationships with surrounding eastern kingdoms, therefore the tai ahom through that information came to the west. Some people talk about tai ahom migration to Assam as if they took an overnight direct bus to Assam through the patkai range hahaha

If they had married among Hindus living around , no harm would have been done to their craftsmenship! After all they worship same gods, had same festivals! In order to master any trade no need to marry within generations after generations within a bunch of 50 families to begin with!It was drilled into Hindus that no craftsman ship can be mastered unless marry within that castes for generations! Right kind of apprenticeship for 10 years should be enough to master any trade including agriculture! Many stereotype about trade mastery had divided Hindus in thousands of castes within 100 sq km! My point is Hindus should intermarry and should become united in this day and age! Our Shankrscharyas of today are number one villains who tell us to maintain small castes! Removing caste system endogamy is not about removing disease. It's more about allowing people to fall in love and choose a compatible partner from across the class and race, as we never know where we can find love and compatibility. Nothing is more fundamental emotion than love. everything else is just a side business to sustain the most important emotion humans can ever achieve. Moreover caste system creates an extreme classism and discrimination as well. Ancient indians developed a lot of awesome things, caste system is just not one of them and is an unfortunate development..

There's been no significant outside genetic influence into India after 5000 BC (some push it well before then), R1a originated in India... The Vedas were written well before the time of the majority opinion concerning AMT: AMT [Hypothesis] was posited after the end of the British Raj. It was a colonial replacement for the AIT. The Saraswati River is known to have flowed for thousands of years and then saw a gradual decline long before 1500 BC, causing the inhabitants to flee the environs to other areas. Satellite imagery (plus the study of sites along the river) has discovered its ancient channels. This river had a gradual decline from around 5,000 BC until it dried out around 1500 BC. The Vedic descriptions of it thus logically preceded the drying up of its ancient channels, thus those who wrote the Vedas described it long before the proposed time period of AMT and had to have lived their locally, continually, to report on it over time. AIT traces back to Seligman (who derived the second iiteration of the false HamiticHypotheses, which taught light-skinned people advanced Africa - similar to AIT/AMT), and the 1st Hamitic Hypotheses traces back to things taught in BC times.

This concept of hereditary Caste division itself is not Indian, it's a superimposition of the Spanish/Portuguese caste system and the English Class system in India, intending to divide the natives and use them against each other while the English hold power and work as a mediator. Caste was a pyramid scheme that European Missionaries sold to Indians via their Christian Missionary schooling imposition in Indian society to divide and conquer. So don’t mix up Varna with Gotram, Varna is Profession, and Gotram is Lineage. Hindus are free to marry in different Varnas, only avoid marrying in the same Gotram because it is considered the same bloodline, hence we don’t marry between brothers and sisters.

@@PawanRao007 In Hindu Dharma, especially birth based caste is a recent times colonial imposition, however Varna (Occupation) was the original one, in Varna there was no upper or lower, people chose the work of which they are qualified for, and according to Bhagavad Gita, anyone can be a Brahmin (Teacher, Scholar profession), Shatriya (Warrior, Army profession), Vaishya (Trader, Business profession), Shudra (Other social workers) based on as per their skills, knowledge, and capabilities: 🔹In Bhagavad Gita 4:13, Krishna says that he created different Varnas [Profession] on the basis of one's Karma [Activities] and Guna [Characteristics]. 🔹Bhagavad Gita 5:18 “The truly learned, with the eyes of divine knowledge, see with equal vision a Brahmin, a cow, an elephant, a dog, and a dog-eater” 🔹Bhagavad Gita 9:29 “I am equally disposed to all living entities: there is neither friend nor foe to Me: but those who with living sentiments render divotional service unto Me, such persons are in Me and I am in them.” 🔹Bhagavad Gita 18:41 “The duties of the Brahmins, Kshatriyas, Vaishyas, and Shudras are distributed in accordance with their Guṇas [Characteristics]. (Nothing comes with the birth except some divine Characteristics). Caste is an English term derived from the Spanish term “Casta” which stands for 'Breed' or 'lineage'. During earlier times, “Caste” use to be Varna (Profession) and based on Guna (Characteristics) and not merely just by birth. Instances from the ancient times proves that a so-called modern day “lower caste” can educate oneself with knowledge and change their Varna (Profession) to “upper caste”, e.g., Guru Valmiki, Kabir Das were from a Shudra family but became a Brahmin based on Guna (Characteristics or Essence), Ravana and his younger brother Kumbhakarna were Brahmins (educated person) from Northern India but because of their notorious Karmas (activities) all were punished by Shri Rama (believed to be an OBC if we abide by today's caste categorization). Lastly, you have to understand the British motive behind imposing the caste system:- The Caucasians (Europeans) created Hutus and Tutsis in Rwanda, Africa, to divide and control the native population, and for this reason, the Rwanda Genocide occurred. The same attempts and inequalities Europeans also tried to create amongst Indians by separating Northern India and Southern India into “Aryans” VS “Dravidians” and further dividing Hinduism into 3,000 castes and 25,000 sub-castes. Read about Herbert Hope Risley who created casteism, racism in Indian society by one's facial features and skin color, and Bishop Robert Caldwell who coined the term “Dravidian” and propagated the “Aryan Invasion” in Southern India to convert Southern Indians into Christianity. And read these books (1) Castes of Minds by Nicholas Dirks, (2) Western Foundations of the Caste System
