Aqeedah of Ahlus Sunnah in regards to the names and attributes of Allah (the prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم and his companions رضي الله عنهم اجمعين): -Affirm for Allah what he attributes to himself in the Qur’an and authentic Sunnah in a way that befits His majesty. In the following way: -Don’t resemble the attributes to anything as there is nothing like Allah. “There is nothing like Him: He is the All Hearing, the All Seeing.” (42:11) -Don’t Distort/change or specify about the attributes what Allah hasn’t. -Don’t ask how the attribute exactly is (as no one has ever seen Allah). -Don’t negate/reject the attributes of Allah. They made not a just estimate of Allah as is due to Him. And on the Day of Resurrection, the whole of the earth will be grasped by His Hand and the heavens will be rolled up in His Right Hand. Exalted is He, free of all imperfections, High above all that they associate as partners with Him.’ (Surah Az-Zumar: 67) “And the Jews say, ‘The hand of Allah is tied up.’ Chained are their hands, and cursed are they for what they say. Rather, both His Hands are extended, He spends however He wills…” (Al-Mā’idah: 64) “[Allah] said, ‘O Iblees, what prevented you from prostrating to that which I created with My hands? Were you arrogant [then], or were you [already] among the haughty?’” [Saad 38:75]. “(Remember) the Day when the Shin shall be laid bare (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) and they shall be called to prostrate themselves (to Allâh), but they (hypocrites) shall not be able to do so.” (68:42) “And the Face of your Lord full of Majesty and Honour will abide forever.” (55:27) “And I endued you with love from Me, in order that you may be brought up under My Eye” (20:39) “Floating under Our Eyes, a reward for him who had been rejected!” (54:14) “Everything will perish except His Face.” (28:88) Side point: The Hadith About 2 Right Hands: "And both of His hands are right (يَمِينٌ) hands." Sunan an-Nasa'i 5379 The word يَمِينٌ/ يُمنا comes from the word, Blessed = تَيَمُّن, this Hadith is talking about how Allah’s hands are blessed. Simple. The Arab’s in the time of the Prophet used to believe the left hand was cursed. Another narration in Muslim states: (I heard this on an audio tape with Sheikh Bin Baz رحمه الله, I need to find the reference for the Hadith) “Indeed the other (Hand) is called the Left (Hand)” All of Allah’s attributes (hands, shin, face etc) can be described as right. Right here meaning blessed (تَيَمُّن). As Muslims we know the right is preferred and more virtuous than the left - “So those on the Right Hand (i.e. those who will be given their Records in their right hands) - how (fortunate) will be those on the Right Hand! (As a respect for them, because they will enter Paradise).” (56:8) “And those on the Left Hand (i.e. those who will be given their Record in their left hands) - how (unfortunate) will be those on the Left Hand! (As a disgrace for them, because they will enter Hell).”(56:9) Salafi’s do not believe that the hands of Allah are organs at the end of the forelimb of certain vertebrates that exhibits great mobility and flexibility in the digits and in the whole organ. It is made up of the wrist joint, the carpal bones, the metacarpal bones, and the phalanges. Salafi’s don’t believe the shin of Allah mentioned in the Qur’an is the front part of the leg below the knee. Salafi’s don’t believe the eye which Allah mentions about himself in the Qur’an is made up of three coats, which enclose the optically clear aqueous humour, lens, and vitreous body. The outermost coat consists of the cornea and the sclera; the middle coat contains the main blood supply to the eye and consists, from the back forward, of the choroid, the ciliary body, and the iris. These are human attributes ^. Allah’s attributes are not like ours. They befit His majesty. "And there is none co-equal or comparable unto Him." (112:4) “And (all) the Most Beautiful Names belong to Allâh, so call on Him by them, and leave the company of those who belie or deny (or utter impious speech against) His Names. They will be requited for what they used to do.” (7:180)

I do not agree with everything shamsi believe but this video shows why shamsi is one of the most knowledgeable speakers to speak at speakers corner, he explains a the topic in question in great depth and goes through the answer in much detail and explaining the circumstances in a very simple and easy to follow way meaning even the viewers of this video can understand and reach the same conclusion as shamsi has reached.. May Allah bless and reward shamsi for all his efforts in giving Dawah to the people. The argument about the hand is simply a lack of understanding and an excuse for the haters of Islam like Bob hatun asif and the Christian hate preacher hypocrite gang to try to undermine muslims and Islam which is something that will never happen . Shamsi really is a great speaker and an even better teacher.. May the Lord of the world reward shamsi

The Aqeedah of the Salaf As-Sālih is beautiful; Belief in Allāh which is from the 6 Pillars of Eemān, the Tawhīd of Allāh - is soo clear. You truly come to know your Lord - the one you worship. Whereas the Kullābīs (Ashā'irah & Māturidiyyah) don't like speaking about Aqīdah because they don't find sweetness of faith in this pillar of Eemān due to their corruption in Belief.

Salaam I need more of these explanations..in the past I used to comprehend it like the way you gave about which is greater sky or earth not in terms of size space etc.. but I guess with time and the explanation and influence of asharee, maturidee and others I didnot adopt the litteral meaning always based on the ayat of muhkamat and mutashaabihaat, understanding that there things in ghayb that may not be comprehended litterally

Hello Shamsi and his team. I just watched a video on youtube were you got harassed by an Atheist, a Hindu and a Christian at the same time. I would like to share this point to Shamsi so he can use as an argument. As you know, all the previous prophets and their followers suffered harassment during their time, Jesus, Moses etc. You can strengthn your argument by saying that muslims are following the correct religion because they are also harassed by everyone else. You can tell which religion goes inline with the previous prophets. Please share this argument to Shamsi,

أخي شمسي حاول عمل كشك في نيوكاسل اعتقد بأن أهل نيوكاسل فرحين بإنتصارات فريقهم ولديهم انفتاح على فهم الإسلام بعد استحواذ صندوق الاستثمارات السعودي على هذا النادي ، ربما تقترحوا على ملاك النادي عمل خيمة عربية لشرح الثقافة العربية كما فعلوا في السعودية وكانت سبب في اعتناق الآلاف من الجنود الأمريكيين للإسلام .
