Education in such a simpler way was never experienced before. This is a remarkable forum of distant yet effective learning.. Dear sir please enlighten us as sometimes dealing with an application for the provision of copy of statement u/s164, there is often a prevalent fear amongst the trial magistrates thinking whether the sealed envelope containing this statement should be opened before the receipt of report u/s173 Cr.p.c or not? what should be the proper course to deal with such an application. Special prayers and regards to Sir Sohail Nasir who is making this learning miracle happen for us.

If magistrate refuse to record statement under section 164 crpc than what remedy available .

Whether accused can come to court for recording any statement other than confession ? More so if accused take plea that police is harassing him that is why he want to record his version before the court ? Need reply plz

1:- Accused can get record any version. 2:- No confession/statement can be recorded if the court finds accused/witness is under any sort of pressure.
