I’ve been listening to death metal and Grindcore for just over 30yrs now, and they’re brilliant. I’m Aussie and a Queenslander, but I discovered that about them after my jaw had dropped. The quality of the guitar is too complex to have it obscured by Mortician-level ambient bass (exaggeration)Two things I never thought I’d say, but the production sound (on past albums) doesn’t on stereo as well, but through my Sennheisers’ headphone… whoa😳 🤌😈 In my car I have an aftermarket Alpine system that’s played louder than my dignity should handle at this age 😂, and a respectable 20year old 2.1 home stereo through a Yamaha receiver and Jamo speakers, and it doesn’t translate as well…. Hey, I’m a supporter of any argument that asserts them as potentially, the highest calibre Australian Death metal product produced thus far. I’m deep diving all their material these last two weeks and they’re so genuinely brutally heavy in anybody’s language, I just wish the guitars were more clearly defined in the upper mids through stereo. Some of the best genius catchy rhythms, as good as the I’ve heard, Immolation, Dying Fetus, Sinister even Phobia, that deserve their place higher in the mix.

I don't like it. Drums sound grid aligned. Everything is slower. No one can match Ruben Rosas sorry. Blasts are like 20bpm slower. Weird volume decrease halfway through also. Someone made a boo boo in mastering the track. Everything about this is weaker than Devourments.
