Seths American dad isnt concidered as good but Im a big fan. Family guy has some of the best jokes ever but its irrelevant cause theyre so spread out and mixed with 80% trash....I can remember the names of SP and AD episodes but if not,I would still remember the eps themselves cause they are plotdriven. Family guy episodes,I probably remember 10,the rest just evaporates. Cause jokes never or rarely involve the plot so its all very disconnected and sketchy,literally.

My man, there's the story and meaning inside this episode. South Park shows Muhammad in their episode "Super Best Friends", after that radical Muslims send threats to creators of South Park, they wanted to murder or blow up their offices. Later this episode with Muhammad was censored and banned on TV, and the creators said that it is hippocracy to ban episode because of specific religion and ignoring the freedom of speech. In this episode they're metaforicly joking about the TV Bosses heads in the sand and that the only person who want the ban is freaking Cartman 😄. p.s.: Sorry for bad English

It was only after the Danish cartoon "scandal" broke out a few years later and Matt&Trey did the Cartoon Wars episodes that they all of the sudden got pissy, and only _then,_ retroactively, the Super Best Friends episode came into focus.

Same reason why “Super Best Friends” and “200/201” were banned: for trying to depict a physical appearance of Muhammad (or even referencing the subject) onscreen, which most Muslim nations consider taboo. And just like in this episode, Matt and Trey actually received death threats from a real life terrorist group for “200/201,” forcing Comedy Central to heavily censor the specials before pulling them entirely.

Tbh i never got the whole south park vs family guy thing, like south park is very easily the better show, i like both of them, but south park is just wayyyyyyy more clever lol. As a swede I'm always surprised when people don't know for sure how such common names like Mohammed are pronounced. I have 6 mohammeds (out of 11 people) just on my shift at work. So we call them nicknames or their last name because there's so many. I make ALOT of jokes and the only time anyone of them was offended was when I grabbed the koran with work gloves on, you need to have clean hands when you grab it to show respect and I can understand that. When covid started I was also told it was the punishment finally coming to us none muslims in the west tho. Inshallah
