22:58 just so u know this is based on the true story of Jason McElwain. Absolutely incredible story of an autistic high school kid that became a legend

Huey has smiled more in this episode than he has in the entire series.

I wonder if that was an animation error. Cuz this dude ain't never supposed to smile 😂

Thing about Riley I always believed, is that despite not being as book smart or as talented of a fighter as his brother, he's actually incredibly talented at stuff like art and sports...IF he actually puts the effort in. He can be a natural genius at anything if he tries, but he's much more focused on his thug life fantasies and looking cool which hampers him.

I dreamed about playing baseball in the MLB a couple times growing up. But my dreams never went as well as Riley’s did in the beginning. I pretty much always struck out looking on 3 straight pitches

How shit works I am aspy (aspergers aka high functioning autistic) not that amazing when I was young I was into basketball since its what all the cool kids I wanted to emulate did. I was mean at D, and I eventually learned to shoot far, couldn't do lay ups, wasn't good at "hands" but I could toss 3s. But back then I was undiagnosed but yeah I always been really good at guessing right amount of force and angles to do shots. Same deal in games I am good at working with drop rates. Even in army with nade launcher practice firing paint nades out the under barrel attachment threw a window I landed all but one shot. Same deal was best shot with rifle in my unit. Like that logic part your brain when autistc CAN doesn't always really help with educated guessing and calculating on fly. Like i didn't do the numbers but i learned while practicing shots with cousins the feel of the basket ball and then started guesing the angle and force needed per shot to make it to the hoop. And hit point where there was like 5 spots on court in 3 range if I was near them I could nail 3/4 shot attempts every time. I just muscle memoried the force and shot could rinse and repeate it. Same deal with nade launcher in boot did enough games did one shot noticed the shot arc from position they had me standing in next 3 shots didn't miss. Just kentucky windaged it in basketball and with wepaons. Like my brain goes 'ok just touch more right, and touch more up agnle ok got it." Same deal with shooting found out in boot zero my shots first then sight got to point I had insane grouping, then had sargent show me how to adjust the sight so we moved the tight cluster to the bullseye, but my first instinct was just manual adjust and I did it and it worked I just got lectured because my "grouping" was bad and sargent sorted out fast what I was doing and said "no put them all in same spot THEN we adjust I just realized you firing a shot then changing your crosshairs trying to hit bullsey make all the shots hit same spot, then we move the sights no the barrel." Did that and next thing I know I was stupid accurate as hell.

It was same with baseball I was good at catching and throwing the ball, but over all ok player like as outfielder I was good but I wanted to pitch but no one would teach me so I ended really mean hard hitting fastball as it was only thing I could self teach in late 90s lol But when ball went wild on ground it was hard for me to predict, but a fly ball yeah I could guess stupid good and catch it even if I had to sprint and jump/dive for it. Just the more crazy grounders that pop up at random I would brace thinking "ok it stays on course, shit it bounced when I didn't expect it to bounce damn it!" Same deal coudln't do home runs but could get on base really good. Like I did good job knowing when to swing and not but not so great at guessing it enough to do optimal hit in fact I did a ton of fly balls at first trying to knock it up and out the park, and realized it was bettter to hit grounders for same reason I sucked in 5th grade they did to lol. So I started hitting grounders and bunting or just be walked on base lol.
