Glad to see these guys still getting good treatment. Adell's overload is pretty sweet and Rozalin's is fantastic, and Axel gets some good points here too. .... BUT WHAT IN THE RED HELL DID THEY DO TO ADELLS VOICE?! Why does he only speak in grunts now?! I thought D2 had a bad voice change, but this is INSULTING!

This game was made during the separation of the companies That’s why they couldn’t get the voice actors to voice act in these DLCS So the only voices your going to get are battle quotes and grunts

Really love this DLC, usually Axel is being made the butt of someone's joke, or demonstrating his musical talents but this is one of the rare shows of his strength, determination and pride for his fans and shows his immense durability in a good light.

Axel gets no respect. His in game stats are comparable to Adell, Adell and Rozalin as well as Taro and Hanako acknowledge his skills at various points only to backtrack them for amusement. Adell outright calls him his rival, he's able to keep up with and guard against Adell in the Netherbattle Tournament, even the cast of D4 who despise him admit he's durable as hell(only to turn it into an insult), he beat Asagi and a bunch of other demons, and defeated or at least held off Laharl, Majorly, Flonne, Mid-Boss and Prism Red. Axel is strong just stupid. He squanders opportunities or throws them away willingly if they don't align with Axel the demons motivations such as his brothers kidnapping which ruined his reputation. Skilled at acting, a great singer, and a pretty damn good fighter he just ends up being the butt of peoples jokes.

*****​ In Vyers case at least in the first game he was still recovering his power from dying and crippling Baal- and he was testing Laharl and co, he still prevented anyone from formally claiming the title of Overlord, and the rest of the Castle Inhabitants and his other loyal vassels didn't take it out of respect or laziness (or some fusion of the two). In D2 he was just dicking around with Adell and Rozalin, in D3 he was there to return a favor to Mao's dad and Mao quickly realizes he was holding back and was a lot smarter and stronger than he seemed. D4 had him as he was in his prime going all out where he was comparable to Zetta, Baal, Tyrant Val (and post D4 Val whose implied to have managed to regain his former strength (at least in story) Hugo in his Prime, and True Zenon.

+Aru Akise Vyer's scene looks rather odd to me. Vyers has no connection to Adell and Rozalin whatsoever, hence no motive whatsoever to hold back. Why did he? Also, I hate that Rozalin's true power was inexplicably nerfed.

yeah axel stats are pretty similar to adell with only this dfferences: 1-axel can learn word and spear skill a little bit faster than adell 2-axel has 110% speed acitude (slower than adell who has 120% speed actitude) 3-adell's evility is more focused on making damage to stronger enemies, while axel is more centered in taking damage from humanoid units 4-lastly, axel has one moe counter-attack than adell

cute? definitly, but i didn't find the main monter character that usefull hanako is a pretty decent buffer tink is good but i stopped uing him after the tournament an taro even if i know he is a pretty strong tank and can deal and absurb amount of damage, i didn't find him that great, but mostly because every time i unlocked taro i already had a more decent tank unit

Agreed. I don't have a problem with lizerota but her being revived pretty much defeats the whole point of killias story and kind of makes his suffering and learning to get over it pretty pointless. @@nichoudha welp adell is only 17 years old demon. He lives in a peaceful place where only weak demon resides so he doesnt even got a decent training ground. If you compare him to the other protagonist whos age is over 1000+ and got a strong background, he is pretty weak but if he age im pretty sure he can easily stand on the same field of other protagonist.

There is a lot of subtle sexism here. It can be avoided, but the implication is that Zenon's true might was overcome by Killia and Adell, and that Axel was also stronger. Adell promised Rozalin's help without even asking her. Rozalin is also acting in a far more feminine manner than the original, which I would have excused if not for the rest of it.
