She's only in one branch timeline. This feels like the same version of Laharl and co. from Disgaea 2 & 3, where Sicily never appeared. They're actually very similar to their more meta counterparts in 3...

Hey so with Disgaea 6 where would you place Laharl? Personally I would place him probably at the 6th spot below Zetta, Valvatoraz, True Zenon, God of Destruction Alex, and Zed. Maron and Ash did defeat him in Phantom Brave but that a two against one type deal. I'm not including DLC fights or ones that were added on later in remakes. So characters like Gig I didn't include as their placement is very wacky. I mean D2 DLC has the group barely scratch him, meanwhile in 4s nether battle tournament DLC he fights pierre who is able to hurt him with just one punch despite her losing to laharl in Digaea 1. Another example is female Laharl 8n this game the dialogue implies it takes place after the post game fight with Laharl as you don't meet Laharl until after the game yet you can fight her even before actually meeting Laharl. Killia, Void Dark, and Goldion are most likely stronger than Laharl, however since his fights against them are only DLC I didn't include them. If you include them Laharl is more around the 9th spot. But where would you place Laharl? Some might include Mao above him stating he destroyed the universe in his bad ending and no one could stop him and he was left floating in a void for eternity. However it never said he destroyed the universe only that he destroyed the human world, the Nether world, and Celestia however there a multiple versions of each and others are also stated to have destroyed the nether world or even multiple nether worlds, also the statement from Mr. Champloo about how no one could stop Mao anymore can't be taken seriously as there are multiple being like Zetta, Valvatoraz, Killia, True Zenon, Gig, and Alex that none of them know nothing about. The only character that is actually stated to have almost destroyed the universe is Zed when he was the ancient Majin, also the ending never stated he was left in an empty void in fact it never states what happened to him. So calling Mao the strongest is a big stretch. Also there's things like the Axel ending in 4 where he turns everyone into himself and no one could stop it. I mean one of makai kingdoms bad endings has Zetta losing to Laharl and being destroyed even though canonically he's way stronger than Laharl. So things like joke endings, and bad ending like these I didn't count.

@@ginojace212 I just put them above Laharl because killia is a tyrant and void and goldion are on the same level but since the entire fight between them is purely DLC which I don't actually count you can easily put Laharl above or below them since Laharl is also on the level of a tyrant since he canonically beat baal.

According to Disgaea 6 itself Laharl is one of the top 5 strongest beings in the netherworld. Who are the others? Let's leave out trenia since that's cheating. Well the contenders would Baal, true Zenon, zetta, Mao, valvatorez, killia and current Zed. I would say Baal is a guaranteed number 1 and Zenon is number 2 according to Disgaea infinite. Zetta should sit at a comfortable number 3 considering he actually served the same super boss role as Baal in Disgaea 4 and you had to buy DLC to fight Baal. And Zed defeated Laharl, so he should be number 4 with Laharl being number 5 with the potential to become number 1 considering he's the only character to canonically beat Baal without significant help. So why does Laharl lose so much? Well, aside from the fact that it's funny, it seems to me that Laharl doesn't usually fight that seriously. It feels like he subconsciously holds back. He only ever seems to really go all out when it's something really important. Like in his fight against Seraph lamington. Taking out the head of Celestia surely is nothing to sneeze at. Then there's his fight against a rampaging xenolith, who was absorbing all magic power around him, supposedly even Laharl's. And yet Laharl was able to easily block his attack once he had stopped underestimating his opponent. And last but not least, Baal. A genuine threat to Laharl's netherworld and the one responsible for King krichevskoy's death. So obviously Laharl took that one really seriously. That's how I view it at least

Laharl didn't really seem all that different compared to his other appearances. Flonne, and Etna though yeah they definitely took a level in being bratty.

​@@BAIGAMING I think like, with a couple exceptions, it's been that way on every game after D1. It's most notable with Laharl since he was the one with the largest character arc, but they rarely show much depth or retain any development other entries. But it's way worse in this entry since they just used the same exact setup for every post game map, you're just seeing them redo the same joke 7 times. At that point it's no wonder they feel so botched.

Worst POSTGAME of all Disgaeas. That's a perfect example of how to mischaracterize characters. Laharl behaves like a complete idiot, Etna is extremely childish and Flonne wants to fight with everything and everyone. A real horror show. I bought Disgaea 6 just to see this Postgame and I was disappointed in a way. Disgaea 5 taught us how to make a FUCKING DLC that describes Laharl well, perfectly rescuing everyone's personality.

They really flanderized them. I miss many of NIS's older characters they used to put in the postgame but they'd probably get their personalities wrong too.
