And him admitting he did these things is the first step in making amends. He did that back then but now this is to a national audience. Also, he may have to face criminal charges and says he is more than willing to accept those. He was asked to do an interview and agreed. Viewers can watch or not. No one is forced to do so. @@ronaldmanning6752 That’s what I BEEN saying. As someone who was sexually abused three times before the age of ten, I don’t get mad but more so annoyed at the fact that people ONLY blame Sherry. They all admit that they literally ignored so many red flags because of the opportunity. Yet, Sherry never forced them to do anything and they had a choice. If they said no then none of this would happen but they wanna blame Sherry. Even Ben said his situation wasn’t as bad nor did he think that Sherry deserved to be DQ over his situation till more people came forward. So idk why they make Ben out as the “original victim” and he jumps at every chance to get fame from this scandal and even posted “I’m the one who wrote the post that begin exposing Sherry Pie” so he doesn’t care about the scandal he just wants the exposure since he wants to be an actor. Yea, let’s just ignore that part and focus on Sherry. Even then I feel like there is more to this scandal that we aren’t getting

Host keeps interrupting Sherry. I mean what's the point in having him on the show if halway through his answer you skip to another question while still not having answers from previous ones. She prides herself for doing this for 30 years... I wish I had gotten more content out of this.

The victims did also add fuel into the flames... How do you think sending nudes to an employer is a legitimate way to be applied? 🤦🏾🤦🏾🤦🏾 My compassion is just limited in this case because they knew what that it was wrong (even if you chose to be this naive and think that Sherry Pie is a real employer). Still, this doesn‘t mean that what Sherry Pie did wasn‘t bad.

People do bad things when they’re a) trying to make their dreams come true and b) under the influence of someone more powerful than them, like a casting director for instance. We can blame the victims all day long, but ultimately consequences need to lie with the one who does the manipulating, the controlling, the lying. If you catch people like this and there are consequences, you make an example of them and hopefully the world will become just a little safer.

@@IndustrialCake i was in a very similar position to with a model agency. i wont go in details but you also can chose your destiny. how is it that they only expose sherry pie because he was a scam but would have played along if he was a real casting director? to me it is just a lack of integrity.

You know what? Interview R Kelly, Ted Bundy and whatnot. We know how straight cis males are, they have ALL the visibility in the world. But Sherry Pie, she gave our community a bad name, and as Tamron said, SP endorsed the stereotype for which we're being attacked by homobitransphobes on a daily basis. Thank you for nothing SP, I don't think you deserve visibility nor whatever sum you took for this circus. You got MONEY from your victims, and if it's over now just be classy and get a job

This is so heartbreaking and frustrating to watch. Tamron’s analogy about seeing crossdresser get assaulted has nothing to do with what Joey did, and a straight woman should not be explaining lgbt struggles to a gay man. She knows nothing because she has no experience. She cuts him off when he tries explaining what he’s doing to better himself and address the root cause of what makes someone do this - childhood trauma, growing up fat and gay, loneliness, resentment stemming from being “the other” your entire life. You’ve got to be pretty fucking dense for thinking HBO casting is asking you to send nudes and solo videos. I’m sure that’s not the only way he did it, but it was their decision to take a risk and send nudes on the internet. When you do that, there is no guarantee where it’s going or that the person on the other end is who they say are. This whole cancellation of Sherry Pie is rooted in homophobia and the bandwagon cancel culture mentality. Let’s show him compassion finally. That’s what this interview was for and Tamron repeatedly shut him down. Why even have him on? I wish him the best and will vocally support him.
