Naut A Fan You're missing the point. All 3 Princes were considered a joke, a waste of legendary slot to screw f2p players. Funny how it turned out now, right? Beginning of the expansion 4 Prince saw some play in rogue, warlock deck. Now 2 Prince is seeing a lot of play in paladin, warlock, rogue, warrior deck. 3 Prince is still considered trash. But overall, these 3 Princes show how people can be wrong/fail to fully see how effective certain cards can be. Personally I still think 3 Prince has potential, more restricted but cheaper Faceless Manipulator so to say. Too bad Sylv or Rag is in HoF.

There's a big difference between being "bad" and "oppressive". The card's good in the right deck, these decks found themselves a home once a rather oppressive deck basically vanished... Shame really... I don't like when decks vanish, much more fun to play what you want to play rather than going 'this card is garbage because my limited world view sees it as such'. Shame really...

If anything, Shadow step is the OP card in this deck. The prince is still what it is: a huge variance card that occasionally wins you games outright. If you build a deck around playing the prince on turn 2, your deck will still suck. As many have pointed out, the only reasons this deck worked so well in this video are, One variance, and Two the deck itself is a very efficient mid-range face deck which happens to be enjoying some good matchups in the current meta

Was trying a similar deck to this today, less late game though and more of an aggro deck. Played 5 games, lost 4 because I drew patches and not Keleseth. My victory I played Keleseth, Shadowstep Keleseth and he ran into a freezing trap. I won pretty easy. This deck is entirely dependant on having keleseth turns 1-3 ish.
