I play Meca'Thun quest priest. Used hemet too early and as I did my OTK I got the quest complete and still had 1 card in my hand :/ I felt dumb lol

I mean, Ghosty, I understand why you find that somewhat ridiculous, since there's dozens of streamers making 20 minute Hearthstone videos. But as in any game, the actual person playing matters a lot. It's typically inner rage Mecha'thun + Malygos then Whirlwind.

The way it's supposed to work is boomship to pull maly and mechathun, inner rage them both for 6 damage, then play whirlwind for 6 more damage killing both of them.

I'm going to guess the missplay part was a joke for people who doesn't know Shield Slam can be used even with no armor. Which, most likely, is a lot of people, specially seeing his chat reactions.

He had to use either shield slam or whirlwind in the second to last turn. If he used whirlwind (as he did), then killing his mecha'thun warrior would be reliant on the opponent having minions on the board for toast to rush into. However, if he used shield slam (which he didn't thus causing his misplay) in the second to last turn, his combo would be self reliant as whirlwind would AOE his own minions instead having to trade minions.
