That's the issue with pawn shops, even here in the UK people, you might be lucky to get a lot more than what you hope for and if they ask you how much did you pay for it, I would ask tell them "Why do you need to know that for?" or if they ask me "How much do you want for it" I would normally say, give me your best offer, sometimes I have been lucky to get more than what I was thinking I would get, other times I got less than what I hope for but to end it all, as long I got something for it, that was all that really matters to me.
