A portion of that game gets locked behind a paywall. Then you have to gamble to get that thing. 1. Back in the good old days, when you bought a game, you bought THE GAME. Nothing hidden extra, but you had the whole game. 2. Now, portions of this whole game, that you have legally purchased, are locked behind a paywall. I repeat, something that you buy is taken from you and locked behind a paywall. You have to pay again for something that you've paid for. 3. Now, imagine how messed up how point 2 is. Now, expand that. Imagine that the person that stole a portion of what you've paid for not only tells you to buy it back, but gets to decide the odds of how you can buy back the things that have been stolen from you. 4. To say it again, everything that they are locking behind paywalls and all that drama are things that you used to be fully entitled to once you got the basic standard game. That's why this thing is frustrating. I grew up loving games and seeing what things have devolved into is, again, an absolute shame. Yong grew up playing games in a similar time as me. That's why he's on this thing nonstop. Something that he and many others, myself included, is getting bastardised due to greed infecting it. Of course he would be angry and on it always. If a loved one is sick, it is highly unlikely that you'll stop caring at some point with the reason being "I've cared about them enough." I think that clarifies things a bit, correct?

I loved the old Game Corner slot machines in Pokemon since it was only just for fun with the normal game money, not some extra "in-game currency" that they use to disguise real money usage like these days. In the original Red Dead Redemption I used to love sitting there playing poker with the normal game money as well, just for fun, seeing how much I could build up over time. Now fake gambling gets removed but real "but legally not through outdated loopholes" gambling gets to exist just fine with no rating impact whatsoever. It's crazy. We're also talking about different standards across two different countries (USA and Japan) but still -- it's crazy no matter how you slice it.

Which is equal to about 23.8%. This 1 minute and 49 second basketball game trailer has 1 minute and 23 seconds of video of slot machines. And remember that was being a little generous with the numbers. It’s actually a little closer to about 23 seconds or 21.1% of basketball video. You can check these numbers pretty easily yourself as well by watching the actual trailer.

In gen 3 remake they have the game corner bulding but you cannot enter it, while in Pokemon Lets go Eevee/Pikachu you can enter the game corner (my guess is because it is plot related) but you cannot play the slot minigames anymore.
