Minnesota over here in clownland is just like Finland. My theory is in line with yours, social isolation combined with zero self awareness of the psychology behind whats happening. Most do not pay attention to their own mental health until well after they snao. This leads me to believe that most people just flat out dont think about themselves or others in a philosophical way. Just hollow people, in a cold, dead land. Boy howdy we are just yogahosing it up today. Minnesota is a true Nordic country. Last I checked it still is half a year of winter. It gets around 0 degrees freedomheit on the regular. Snow up to your waist. Ice. Ice everywhere. The other half of the year is humid muddy hell. Do not recommend. I'd think Finland would be better. Unless your springs and summers get above 70% humidity on a regular basis. Hell even fall was humid, just not as hot.

I'm sorry to hear that but it does align with what I've heard from almost all Northern countries etc, sucks man.

@@CearadethI've been living in Oklahoma the past couple years and my faculties have improved tremendously. Still feels like an uphill battle to not be an/feel like an outsider anymore, but being around actually social people who aren't mean spirited really helps. Would love to visit Finland eventually, I find the northern realm mystifying in that you're all on top of the world. I imagine looking at the horizon in a big open field or a mountain top is haunting, in a good way.

@@lucamckenn5932 I am so happy to hear that. And visiting Finland if you wanna see mountains be sure to go north, here south Finland it's more flat than whatever state y'all always say is flat :'))

I heard about body neutrality recently seems good! "It's not what my body looks like, it's what my body can do" Takes the shame and self-hatred out of trying to better yourself

Being a little chubby or even actually fat is ok, the problem with body positive people is that they are trying to convince society that being clinically obese is not bad for you.
@Cearadeth6 ай бұрын
You can also be both a) beautiful and b) chubbers, it does not have to be exclusive - it seems really brainwashy when people are told "no, you're perfect" as if they are so fragile that it would break them :/.
@questionmarks44316 ай бұрын
@@Cearadeth I feel so uncomfortable around the “no, you’re perfect” people. I'm not a rude person, but talking to these people is like holding a porcelain doll and I feel like I can't have a normal interaction and it's so forced and unnatural.
@Cearadeth6 ай бұрын
It really feels like they are questioning your mental capacity almost, when you're spoken to like a child. Not fun and very destructive in the worst cases.
@questionmarks44316 ай бұрын
@@Cearadeth That always feels so condescending, i had to ask people to talk "normal" to me before and it's a terrible situation to be. If wasn't college related i would probably have just left.
