Just a few things: 1. I don't think Death of the outsider ever retailed for the typical cost of $60, I think it was only $30 at its highest 2. I believe it was originally intended to be DLC for Dishonored 2, which is probably why it feels that way. (For reference Knife of Dunwall + Brigmore witches have 6 missions but DOTO just has 5) 3. I think the blink being different is by design. Corvo, Emily and Daud all had unique blinks so I think it makes sense. From a lore perspective I don't think Billy gets her powers from the outsider so it kinda makes sense. If you miss it tho the new game + swaps out her powers for Blink, Domino and dark vision Overall I'd agree with your main points tho. This game also removed the chaos system so the only real choice is the one right at the end, which definitely hurts replayability

Thank you for this! I was legit confused durring parts of this game. I even looked into the DLC question I had and found mixed opinions online because it says a stand alone Dishonored game, but then some people where saying it was a DLC, but on the Steam page it doesn't really say anywhere.

It is dlc, when you buy the deluxe version of dishonored 2 you get the death of the outsider. Its just they wanted people to be able to just play it on its own.

Thank you! I was so confused by this. I did a bit of research online and found mixed opinions from people. Some said it is a stand alone game and others said it was a DLC, but not promoted as a DLC? Was completely confused.
