"Such failure must be as depressing to bear as it is pathetic to behold" is such a burn that hits hard, and specially harder because it's coming from someone like the Stormlord. You Imotekh voice is wonderful, would love to hear more of it if there are any more cool excerpts like this.

Well, that was chilling. Seeing Helbrecht, one of the mightiest warriors and generals in the entire Imperium, laid low by Imotekh. However, we must remember that the High Marshall did indeed remember his enemy's lesson, and paid him back for it a thousand-fold when he destroyed the the _Inevitable Conqueror,_ the flagship of the Stormlord.

But then again Helbrecht going out of his way to destroy Imotekh's flagship and all that for Imotekh to be basically: "Ok, you destroyed a ship... I have many ships..."

@ Ships as mighty as the _Invincible Conquer?_ Even for a Phaeron as powerful as Imotekh, Cairn Tombships don’t come cheap, and having your own flagship shot out from under you by a foe you didn’t kill the first time is pretty humiliating regardless; major loss of face.

Yeah, the imperium needs to take more L's Otherwise it feels like the narrative is punishing everyone but them for being terrible people, the main appeal of 40k is that all the factions are evil in some way and they are all getting fucked over for it.
