Disinformation's fights at Robocore in Brazil!

This is all of Disinformation's fights from my recent trip to Brazil, for the Robocore Experience event! We had a really good time, and I hope we can figure out the scheduling to make it back again next year!

Sounds like a great experience =) Even if Disinformation didn't perform quite like we hoped, it dished out some really impressive hits and still came home in one piece. I look forward to seeing how you'll iterate on the design.

-- Pretty solid overall, especially for a new bot. Good lord I love Brasil. Spent time down there in the military and had to go back. Stayed down there for a while in Salvador. They have the best Carnival, don't let anyone tell you different :) Think you might want to take me up on that idea to reduce your high center :) Thanks for the show, Ray. Looking forward to seeing you on BB. Wondering how you would approach a match with 'Tombstone' vs 'Riptide'. On the drum damage, maybe taper the drum? Arc it in away from the chain?

Any thoughts on how to update Disinformation so that it drives upside-down better? Because that seemed to be an issue for sure...

Plenty of thoughts for a rebuild, and certainly addressing some drive issues would be high on that list. And maybe a little more power in the weapon too - there's always room for more power :)

add forks and this will be pretty good, the lack of good forks hurt the controll aspect against the control robot

Hey ray are u comming to battlebots next next season with tombstone? If yes what changes did u make to tombstone?

The plan has always been to be at the next BattleBots filming. But until they announce it I'm not putting any real effort or money into updates on Tombstone. I have lots of ideas though :)

@@ray9368 i know the F1 race is doing weird stuff but you guys gotta get better communication out of the showrunners. It's years into this thing, it's wild how ramshackle it seems from the outside looking in. y'all deserve better.

@@kaiserruhsam Those complaints are certainly valid, although to a degree it's out of their hands. Trust me, BattleBots understands the difficulties, but as it moves up the network there is less understanding.

You have to have a spacer or chamfer for the drum to prevent that snagging, but the downside is the chain will be exposed! No right answers in this sport, that’s what makes it fun!

The chain is just exposed here - not much is going to drastically help that. Further undercutting for the sprocket would have helped, but also that is where the bearing for the drum is, and I I wanted full support for it. Whenever I tear it down I'll make some measurements and decide how to best proceed.

Ray in the interview tells people to start small, because holding your bot for over 2 minutes in an interview can get heavy.
