Alot of producers sample alot of stuff but you wouldnt. Know it unless they told you,sampling is an art you have to take a sound and manipulate it to sound pleasing to the ears of listeners.And if its done right the sampled beat usually sounds better than the original song!!

plus it's not really hard at all to access/adjust the pitch. right is faster, left is slower. if all you do is mix and play records then you don't have to worry about knocking off the tone arm because you're not doing anything physically to do so. if you wanna start doing tricks it's a different story. you wanna make sure you have a clear path for your hands because there's a lot of movement involved from deck to deck

@ALISTOSmc okay i'm not sure where you're from, but here in America we call them "beats", "blaps", etc. no matter how many instruments are in it . we do it for short. the only time we use the word "instrumental" to describe it is after an artist (vocalist, emcee or singer) has laid something on top of it. then we call it "instrumental" so calling it a "beat" is proper english. peace

I'd go with the Maschine if its your first piece of hardware as it comes with an integrated program along with 6gs of really solid drum samples. MPC's, although brilliant machines, are being heavily outdated by what can be done on MPD's through different DAW's such as ableton or the maschine software it comes packaged with.
