Dismantling a bubble shooter

Just a quick video of me dismantling a bubble shooter that uses a peristaltic pump. I was hoping to use this for a different project, but I don't think it'll have sufficient flow.

Great description of the pump operation. I have worked on these pump systems in toy bubble guns like the one in this video, plus bubble squirters in model R/C helicopters, etc. Usually, I find that after these items are not used for a while, the little motors run but no bubbles and I find that the soft silicone hoses are the problem. They take a set from the two rollers in the pump; get a flat spot or are pinched completely closed. Sometimes, if there is enough of this hose in the toy, I can move the hose out of the pump and get it to work. Other times, I don't have enough hose in the toy to do this. If I could find a source for this soft hose, I would be able to fix more of these items for the kids. Thanks for the video.

Nice explainer video, thank you. We are trying to get our boy's bubble gun working again - pump has lost suction (actually seems to be blowing instead!)

I have a riffle bubble gun but the suction didn't work. Can you help me with the mechanism? Coz I have trouble fixing it back

I have two of these. Bought one and thought it might get broken so I got another. Was going to experiment with the peristaltic pump. I've used a better one of these and i'm guessing it was more expensive as it ran on 6 AA cells and had a nice fan and separate motor for the peristaltic pump. Shame that I didn't ask if i could keep it when it was no longer needed.

It won't have any issue *MOVING* the oil, it'll just be super slow.
