Hy Pat, I just bought a used one. It works fine on high RPMs. but when the chain gets stuck and I try to accelarate the saw but it cant move. And when it goes back to idle it allways stops :/ It's just annoying, when you have to start every 2 minutes in the tree :D

you don't need to go almost through on your first cut they only need to over lap by an inch when you're doing a straight cut a small straight cut 1/4 " from bottom then cut down from the top

I like to do the overlap bigger to be sure there is no holdingwood left.. specially on bigger pieces.

your snap cuts drive me nuts way to much cutting and when you want to do a straight fall on a branch ,stop 2asting time and fuel on cutting the wedge on bottom of branch

What is the problem with snap cuts? Why not a wedge on limbs? If not they can easy "peel of" instead of a clean break from my experience
