Loved watching the Disney afternoon back in the day on iTV with Mike Sobel here in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada when I was a kid. Darkwing Duck, Gargoyles and Rescue Rangers were my favorites.

This is so cool! I also love that they sang the opening to The Disney Afternoon block itself! The opening is just as amazing as the theme songs to the shows themselves, IMO!

Where are the Gummi Bears? I know they aren’t an afternoon show but theme song was powerful!

They started on NBC in 1985. Disney Afternoon aired the episodes in syndication. It doesn’t count.

@@bigguy952 I didn't remember wuzzles being a part of it. I just remember I had a audio cassette and the four show it had music from were RR, Talespin, Ducktales, and Gummiebears. That was the original 4 I thought, then they added dark wing and bonkers.

Gummi Bears wasn’t created directly for Disney Afternoon, so that’s the only reason why that doesn’t count.

@@Koopabonga Yeah. Those shows were late entries into the Disney Afternoon block. Bonkers came in 1994, and Quack Pack and Mighty Ducks came at the very end. Gargoyles got shafted too.
