I saved up to buy their book at age 13 through summer jobs (janitor work, mowing lawns, raking leaves) and that book was my bible for years. It taught me everything I needed to know to be an animator. Everything was just right there.

Fantastic upload- as engaging as Frank and Ollie are, you can tell they aren't quite adjusted to the performance element of a chat show. No pomp and circumstance with these guys, so honest and sincere.

I really miss 2D animation in movies. Now would be the perfect time to bring it back.

That's the way to do it. That's old school. No school like the old school.

There are many Bibles out there... including "The Illusion of Life". Thank you for uploading this. Still buying this classic decades on... bought my niece her first "Bible" for her first birthday a few months ago... that's how I was exposed to the genius of animation. By owning this book as a kid. I still visit it just for pleasure all the time. The only book that is PERMANENTLY on the book shelf.

That book (Illustion of Life) is one of my favorites. Takes you back to a different time on top of teaching you about animation.
