On the first message, You're not wrong on what you're saying but I feel like you took his message, shook it up, did a 180 and ran with it. He only mentions smoke and gas in terms of the viewer's experience, as in on twitch/youtube, not balance, gameplay or any of that. This is an objective fact. And to your second comment, problem is they REMOVED the counter play you're referring to and there's little that can be done to counter people running Lifeline, Newcastle and ( Potential 3'd supp, [probably Gibby]). How do you beat a squad that gets double efficiency on cells and syringes. With 3 indestructible shield and a 4th that's twice as* tanky... All with unique revives that are faster and provide regen. You'd think Crypto or Maggie but that's out the window. In most other seasons I agree but these are a bit excessive. I've never had a small legend pool, but supps are clearly outclassing with little room for others.

@Infamouswiseman I'm not talking about the video, the comment he used in it. People complain every season and it's always a drastic over correction to the wrong problems. People don't have the attention span and constantly want meta changes, maps, weapon changes and so on, instead of doubling down and having them fix the game at its core. Servers, cheaters, sound, instead of always have a god mode character every season, revert most of them back to the prime. Characters shouldn't be nerfed because some people don't like playing against them.

The fix for this is very simple; remove the one thing that shoulda been removed with the other OP elements which is the GOLD rez; in this meta, the gold Rez is what makes it annoying. That aside, every legend is damn playable and it’s the most balanced it’s ever been.

I mean I agree solo q can suck, but I only solo rank so that's all I know of apex. I've never grouped up, and I love apex purely solo rank q. It's not perfect, but I love it. I don't like people that always point out faults. That's probably too harsh, I don't like the idea of only pointing out the negatives. Honestly I don't think apex needs to limit legend type. It's just the meta right now, it will change. Buffs, nerfs, redesign, new traits, it's not like this is the final version of apex. its the absolute worse state the game has ever been in, the game has done a 360, you used to get punished/rewarded for getting downed or downing someone, now its just a shit show of support legends reviving each other with massive shields for what purpose, to help casual and new players? they don't use their abilities or are ever in a good position to begin with, it doesn't help them, but it makes games at the upper brackets unbearable, fights you should easily wipe out, just get obliterated by support legends who just revive in you're face to full health. this meta was complete dog shit when 3 strikes was around, now its in ranked and buffed.. comp feels like ass due to all the respawning, it creates hot spots where multiple teams run for free kills, so many more teams are alive further into the game and are a full squad for getting shit on multiple times and just running and crafting. teams that should have been gone are still there, and they play revive simulator in you're face with lifeline new castle. its so bad and you can see it didn't bring back many players, but caused more people to say they are leaving.

This meta has been great, massive fights, harder to win fights which I love, it’s no longer get knocked and lose. My opinion of the pros crying about it is they can’t just steamroll a single fight anymore. You are supposed to be punished for making a mistake and getting knocked. It makes you play smarter and be more aware of your positioning, this meta completely negates that. "Oh, I got knocked? Let my Newcastle res me for free with full health in an instant, who cares about learning from my bad positioning?" Rewarding/not punishing bad plays will always be terrible for a competitive FPS, and the only people that enjoy it are the people that cry because they over peeked and got beamed for free. Bad positioning, bad mechanics, and terrible awareness should always be punishable, but now those players are being babied. Its is not good at all for the game that you are being forced to use a meta to have a higher chance in winning a match but thats what Respwan keeps doing with all this reworks and balances that end up unbalacing everything as a whole. Meanwhile every core problem of the game is still there with no solution to be seen and updates only take players back into the game for at most 2 weeks to then drop again to previous levels and below.

Personally I think we are heading towards the right track, besides the game being a little broken for me personally this season, I think major changes are still needed to gain momentum toward the right direction meaning, all around legend balancing/tweaking in new meta along with a balanced ranked for teaming players and solo players. I love/hate the new meta. I think it is fun for casuals because they have more chances to stay alive, but pro players abuse the meta and it leads to a never-ending fight for the pro scene and favors and buffs indirectly the teams with the best loot, which is not healthy.

Limiting to 1 hero per class is shit idea, this would feel and play the same, overwatch had the same problem, 2-4 tanks and supports, every match was the same all teams where the same after a while every person was bored to death,
