Disney Channel's greatest era was from January 2006 to late 2011/early 2012. Disney Channel reached its peak from January 1st of 2008 to June 30th of 2009. Point is, this video shows how bad the network was has dropped down.

I thought the bounce era lasted until spring or summer of 2007

Disney channel removed most of the bounce era bumpers by late January 2007; a great exception to this was some station IDs and the Disney Channel Movie bumpers which were later replaced in 2008/2009. Programming wise it was still kind of similar to the bounce era but slowly started focusing less on reruns and animated series. This was more noticeable later in the year when there was no animation (except for graveyard slots) or of reruns ended series
