We're back in Florida and this is our FIRST EVER time on the Disney Fantasy! We board this incredible cruise ship in Port Canaveral for a full week in the Caribbean sunshine. First up there's an amazing sail away party and show you around our deluxe family veranda stateroom. We were so impressed with the size and design of this cabin, we wish more cruise ships were like this. We enjoy breakfast on board the ship in the Cabanas buffet then head off for fun and adventure in the British Virgin Islands!

When I went on a Disney Magic cruise back in its inaugural season, the ship left, but my luggage stayed on the pier back in Cape Canaveral! Thank God I had split my and my husband’s stuff between both of our luggages. That way we could manage until the luggage found its way ba k to us. This stayed with us and we always pack this way now.

I just flew back Sunday from a cruise on Fantasy. It was around 50% capacity too, which meant low to no queueing for the characters!

Hello Ben and David! Had to pop into the comments to remind you of a packing tip you may have forgotten, or never heard. Pack at least one outfit for each person in the traveling party into each bag. I traveled with a family of 5. Each of our 5 checked bags had at least one outfit for each person. My daughter's bag went missing once but she was covered, literally 😂, until her luggage was found. No need for concern. Love your channel 💗

The view of the port there is stunning with all of the candy colored roofs. As for the “jam” filled donut, in the US it’s jam if it’s unstrained fruit, chunky, seeds and all, but jelly if it’s strained and smooth. Since most fruit filled donuts are filled with jelly, they are indeed called “jelly donuts”.

Like the split bath. Great a sink on both sides. Amazing storage. Sofa and chair. Love the lamps. Oh no. Great room but tiny tv 👎. Big enough to see the bill though 😂. Wide balcony. Table for 🍹🍕🥃. Oh. Lovely laundry. Oh no. We see the meal. That’ll probably be a different Vlog of meals. British Virgin Islands. Tortola. Breakfast. Yeah. Sodas included in the buffet. Nice. Y’all plueeze stop with the jelly slams at Americans. We have both and then some. Jelly is just the juice with pectin. Usually this is just apple or grape and berries With the seeds squeezed away. Jam has fruit pulp in it. Strawberry and peach are favorites. Preserves has larger fruit chunks and less sugar and less pectin. And lord love the clever cuss who invented marmalade cause here in the US it ain’t just orange.

My wife and I are on QTS with RC right now. Honestly kinda sucks, we were expecting more from Royal Caribbean. Food quality, unless you pay for it is terrible, service is hit or miss (either someone who is happy to help, but a lot who look and act like they hate it there. Staff is obviously overworked and underpaid, someone on the ship even told us that RC reduced their ship crew force to around 25% only, but not limiting the passengers. Thats a lot of slack and weight from a crew member to passenger ratio! I think we expected more because your guys videos make RC seem really great, however maybe our tastes differ, or our experience was just different all together. We can’t support RC after this cruise, but we want to try a cruise with Disney, NCL, and Viking. Anyways we love watching your videos! Please keep them coming and thanks for this Disney Cruise video because my wife is really excited to try cruising with Disney.

I am so ready to cruise again. During Covid we had a cruise on the Paul Gauguin cancelled, then we were to be on a cruise that had the Ukraine and surrounding countries included…needless to say, we didn’t go on that one either. Have oh so much fun for all of the rest of us!!!

Fun fact, the laundry service that you send out can be cheaper if you only have 1 or 2 items being cleaned as it charges by the piece. If you have a big load to do then the self-serve launderette will be cheaper and it's around $7 for a wash, dry and soap token. A few items with the laundry service should be less that $7 depending on the item.

When I last cruised Disney in March coffee was so weak. I ordered espresso to mix with my coffee. I complained too. Love my strong coffee

Just a little US info... in the US there's a difference between jams, jellies & preserves. Jelly: Jelly is made with strained fruit juice. There are no pieces of fruit in jelly. Jam: Jam is made with mashed fruit. Preserves: Preserves have whole fruit or large pieces of fruit. Love your videos!

Omg that breakfast looked good… I agree breakfast is the best meal……I also agree being a Brit..coffee is a nightmare on a ship..or out. I only like the instant…hate filter so finding a proper coffee is hard..li would have to take my own and get hot n water from the buffet…really hate no kettles in the cabin.. P&O are great for that! 👍🇬🇧

wow ur on this ship with my son and his wife there actually on there honeymoon finally after a year and a half delay from covid . it’s my dil first cruise she is so excited .my husband and i gave them this trip as a wedding gift we scheduled a couples massage for them too and we included all tips too . i know they are having a magical time . poor son still has to study on ship he is in his 3 rd year of medical school . i been tracking the ship that’s very cool . hope u guys are having a blast

Hi Ben and David, when we cruised on the Celebrity Millennium in November 2021, we had an aft starboard side Family Oceanview with veranda cabin. Sleeps 5, but it was just us. I measured the cabin, the bedroom area was 10 x 19 ft and what would be the kids sleeping area was 10 x 10. That's 290 sq ft of cabin for us. And the veranda was 14 x 20 with a 270 degree view (aft and entire starboard side). And to top that off, we only had 562 out of 2,201 passengers. Life was good. In 18 days we're on Celebrity Summit 10 nights to Bermuda. We're spending our kid's inheritance. Hi from Bob and Jill in Connecticut, go Chelsea Blues FC 💙

Glad you are enjoying Disney. I think you said it best giving a 7 out of 10 for food. Entertainment is plastic Disney but the cabin is the best part. I suffer here with my homemade orange chocolate kahlua coffee. I suppose having fresh fruits is a nice advantage, but I prefer my own food. It just takes time and someone must do the cleanup. Is anyone alive on a dusney cruise? The lines they perform seem so programmed and without life. Is there anyone inhabiting those bodies? My home is within a mile of the Cape Canaveral port as the gull flies. You can live there affordably and cruise until you are cruised out. A sail party without a sail. Imagineering at work!
