Disney Cruise in Europe! Exploring Pompeii Day 2

It's day 2 of my amazing Disney Cruise to Italy and Greece on the Disney Dream and today we are visiting Pompeii and enjoying some amazing time on the ship! This excursion exceeded my every expectation and if you are planning a European Disney Cruise with a stop in Naples, I highly recommend booking your excursion EARLY as they will fill up. Adam and I did the adults only experience which allows you to see the brothels and other areas not available on the family friendly version. I have been to Naples twice. First time we chose to go to Capri and it was so ohotwe did not go to the shopping center close to the ship. The second time, we were going to take The Hop on Hop off bus that would eventually take us to the 5he famous mall. We'll, we rode rode the bus, but it Poured so hard, no one got off. Next time! Enjoy!

I agree with you regarding the Animators Pallette menu, very lackluster. But I do love those black truffle purseittes and they will make that into an entree size dish if you ask 😊

I found you when you did your Japan trip, which was so enjoyable! Genuine interest and enthusiasm for travel and go with the flow attitude makes your content fun and relaxing to watch. I have always wanted to do a Disney Cruise as my first one ever. I did not know that they had adults only excursions.That was some good info. Pompeii looked amazing. For the Animator’s Palette menu, I had the Haloumi Pursettes on my Magic cruise last summer and it’s one of my favorite things I’ve ever eaten on DCL. Don’t sleep on those Vegetarian dishes. They were several of my favorite things I’ve had now!

Hey, the DCL ships are our faves , but not visiting the City of Naples while being there is missing the best part of your tour, i am afraid. Anyway, HI from GERMANY and now you have a reason to come back, although it is an expensive cruise and (for our german yt-channel) we wont book it (for now.... never say never :-) ) Keep on!

It is an apartment building. I drive past it all the time, it used to be a rich people residence and now it’s apartments. And the smaller boat is the ferry that goes to the islands in the gulf of naples.

The Prosecco they offer to Platinum guests and above cruisers in Europe is better than what they offer from US departures! I didn't even want to share my bottle it was so good. 😂 (Platinum guests are offered one of 3 or 4 options as their 'included' Castaway gifts from room service.)

Not sure it's wise that my first cruise (ever!) is a Disney Cruise in Europe.... That whole "not wanting to get off the ship" thing could be a real problem...lol.
