In today's vlog, we let the sea pass us by with a day at sea. On occasion, it's not possible to dock in Castaway Cay if the wind speed/waves are too high. Thankfully, we're on the four night cruise and as there's no ship in Castaway Cay on Thursdays, they could just swap the days around. So next week will be a look at Castaway Cay.
During our day at sea, we spent most of it chilling, eating and just enjoying the cruise lifestyle. In this vlog I talk about DVC, we visit a food demonstration, try some ice cream from Vanellope's Sweet Shop, meet first mate Minnie Mouse, 'try' to watch Frozen 2 and have a great evening on Pirate Night visiting the Pirates League, dining at Animator's Palate and seeing the fireworks.

The “nothing” plate at 19:20 reminded me of my family’s Disney cruise back in 2011! Every single night my dad always said “no dessert thanks” until the last night when he ordered the baked Alaska. The waiter brought out a plate that said “No dessert thanks” and after we all laughed in response, he placed down a plate with two servings. Honestly it will be a moment of simple Disney magic that I’ll never forget!

I can relate to the movie theater anxiety! On my December cruise, luckily there was a late night (very late) showing of Frozen II. This was a much better option for me with crowds, quiet, and consideration.

Jet lag is no joke! We live in Japan and fly back to visit family in the States and it knocks me flat every time! I always wondered when watching your vlogs how you negotiated the change in schedule. We’re 14 hours difference and it’s really tough! I read somewhere that it takes 1 day for every hour of time change that you experience, biologically speaking. You do pretty well as far as we can see.

I’m a DVC member and with the exchange rate as it is my dues for this year we’re so high 😕. My home resort is BCV and I can’t get all the nights I want for mid November and I have to wait for April to be able to book the other resorts but I love being a member 😊.
