I love the Fantasy. Just like Tracey, I cry every time I hear those horns on embarkation day. Nothing like a 7 night cruise! After 11….I won’t go for any fewer days than 7❤❤

The Polynesian studios are my favorite because they have two bathrooms. I didn’t really like the layout of Bay Lake Towers but you can’t beat the walk to MK!

The Fantasy looks awesome. Never done a Disney Cruise before, but it's on our list. Interesting to hear your comments on the study room at OKW. We stayed there in October (2 adults & 1 teenager) and had the same thoughts as you. The room was huge, with insufficient storage, and the bathroom was small. The resort itself is lovely, and the buses are so good, quiet and very frequent.😃. Enjoy your time in Miami x

I did my first 7 night in Sept (to Alaska), and found it less overwhelming than the shorter ones as you're not trying to cram it all in.

It was lovely. I'm really prone to motion sickness but had absolutely zero issues. Didn't take any medication either

Love that ship, we are on her for the third time in April! We also prefer the decor of the classic ships rather than the Wish, the Fantasy is Art Nouveau, the Dream, Art Deco. We usually have a car so are interested, what time did they tell you to be at reception for the transfer pick - it seemed quite early? I really recommend the table service for that first lunch, we love it. We are like you, we now go without our son and whilst strange it is another kind😂 of trip.

Yeah its definitely a different type of trip without the kids. Definitely preferred the table service too. I think we need to be at the pick up point around 9.30 but would depend on the hotel I think
