I'm so glad you enjoyed watching the video!! My two most recent cruises (this one, and Alaska), were especially fun to work on due to the endless amount of scenery I was able to capture on video. Panama was an amazing sailing too, though just very different in feel. Currently I'm working on figuring out what my next project should be! Any suggestions?

@@jjma We're heading to Alaska next year (wink, wink 🤣)... We're thinking of a HAL Vancouver-Alaska-Japan trip (my in-laws are on it right now, "testing" it for us 🤣) My ILs spend half their time or more on cruise ships, so they know the best routes intimately. I'd say Hawai'i for scenery, definitely, but it's tough getting a DCL cruise to Hawai'i. We ended up going to Hawai'i with HAL, which was a great ship & voyage, just a much older clientele (our Hawai'i trip on HAL had only 12 children under 18). HAL had nowhere near the energy of Disney - but an indoor/outdoor pool, huge Spa, front facing lounge, all day buffet and FANTASTIC routeswere 👍🏻

Always superb content. Must have been a wonderful experience. At 17:24 you’ll see Charles Simonyi’s new yacht NORD (it’s the grey yacht). If his name doesn’t ring a bell, he’s the software programmer who brought us MS Office.

Thank you! it was an amazing experience. Yes! We had a Whatsapp group amongst ourselves in the cruise and were talking about that. When I stood next to it, it looked like it resembled a military vessel, but we saw that it was privately owned. What a coincidence for us to be there the same day he was!

We were on your Alaska cruise and really enjoyed your video. Thx for the memories. Just curious which cruise you liked more. Alaska or Norway??
@jjma25 күн бұрын
Alaska was amazing! It's hard to compare the two against each other because they feel very different. Alaska is really all about nature and wildlife. For Norway, it is about visiting a country that just happens to have gorgeous scenery all around. The port towns in Norway definitely have a more authentic feel to them whereas Alaskan ports are completely centered around tourism. But you also won't really be seeing humpback whales, orcas, bears and eagles in Norway. If you are able, i do highly recommend trying Norway to see for yourself!!

@jjma14 күн бұрын
@@philblow6868 thanks! I saw the northern lights in Norway during the September timeframe. the issue with the summer is that the days are too long and that there’s too much daylight for the Auroras to be visible. So I’d recommend end of summer or winter season!
