The thing about Scrooge and Merlin's new outfits is that it says something along the lines that it's going to be available in an upcoming event, in the character collections where you change their outfits. Then I saw Scrooge in the store today and I thought now they have possibly lied. There could still be an event but the fact that it's in the store now makes me think probably not.

They could have added some particle effects like some dark magic oozing out of the Tools. That would look cool but as for right now they are not worth the moonstones. Scrooge looks good tho nice to see him take a vacation

Tbh I will not support Gameloft in their pursuit to monetize DDLV as much as possible. It is still in early access, so bugs are natural. But putting so much stuff behind a paywall, which Gameloft is known to do and charging so much is disrespectful to the community. And especially when you remember that Inflation are a serious problem for many of us. That is why I will NOT buy any Moonstones until they lower the prices. And if you are trying to defend this: First this is my opinion and Second they have made hundreds of millions so far just by people paying to play early. And for the amount of stuff we have gotten so far this is unbelievable. Sorry for this rant just had to let it out. And thank you for MrStarInSky for showing us everything the game has to offer. I appreciate the tutorials especially.

I Don’t normally comment but Speak out on the prices because this is crazy this game is still in early access they still get paid by people buying it in early access and from the star path and I been here from the start and I had high hopes and I’m sad because I can’t get the things I want from the premium store because I got to keep buying moonstones and the thing is they said this update was going be the biggest update but it’s not I’m still bored and have nothing to do but finish the star path because it should have been more to do and if you go back to they old post about early access they tell you they would want u to pay until early access was over. We have to speak out to make a change.🗣

I'm fairly certain that Scrooge was outside his Store because when you initially activate his Dream Style, he gets a little animation and shows up near the Plaza wishing well. Sadly, I think the new Dream Style does not make him go outside more...if at all. Unless he hangs out with the Player.

i've bought a few things from the premium store - scrooge skin, tools skins, nightmare castle, turning red trio, eric's ship, pink companion pack 1 & 2, ice fountain, wanderer (buzz rv items) pack, palace skin, princess room divider, monsters house skin, all the art deco posters and not technically premium but i also got the wall e bundle - while everything i agree has been over priced, the only thing i regret buying is the 2 pink companion sets cos at the time i just wanted all the companions, i was not expecting them to just re colour to blue and bring it out again. Finally If only gameloft would take 25% or 50% those prices i know i'd buy a lot more, just at these prices its getting tough.

At first they were treating their community so nice and we got free stuff, but they start to show their true colors and they are building up to something... It will only go more downhill from now! Breaks my heart. I don't mind spending money, but these prices are insane! Eventually this game will cost u hundreds of dollars. They have broken their promises. We are the paid players and they are effing us over.

When I saw we had the tool skins in the shop this morning I bought instantly! It wasn't until I saw I couldn't buy the new Scrooge skin as well that I realized I bought the tools without even looking at the price since I was so excited ^_^; I do like the new tools skins and I am using them, but honestly, they aren't worth it at that price. Maybe if they ever have special sales in the premium shop so you could get them at a more reasonable price. I kinda wish I had waited to get them.

I am okay with paying like a decent amount to get a house skin you can now place in your valley, but paying for character skins no way I am doing that. make skins for characters a event thing or even as a reward for signing in every day for like 100 days

I bought the last few things from the shop. I really liked the Scrooge skin. The skins for the tools I wish I could refund it not worth it at all. From the previous week I got those things as well. I actually liked the Red stuff. The plant needed some work but I like the falling leaves and the wall wasnt the best but the lantern on that board I really like that. I have those lining walk ways in my town. I also got Wall-E bundle I was not a fan of the quests it was pretty normal but Wall-E skin was great and I love Wall-E so I am biased there. Just thought I would share my thoughts.

I only got the Scrooge outfit, however I do feel like it is a little overpriced but that is just a personal opinion. I personally do not like the tool skins and thought it would be a waste of moonstones for me as it is something I don’t really like.

Really would have bought the tool skins if they did something different but its still the tool we already have 😂 also took ages for me to be able to play the update as mid fairy godmother quest i suddenly couldn't pick up anything, mine, harvest so couldn't to anything l, thankfully only lasted a few days.😢

I bought the tool skins and love the look, but like you I think it's way to expencive fore what you get, I didn't bye the Scrooge skin because it's also way to expencive and I din hang out with him enough to enjoy it for that price 💸🤑. oh no the Scrooge animations are all broken on the new skin 😂😂 his arm breaks backwards when he lets go of his hat when running and they didn't change him throwing coins in the air, the audio is still there but it's bugged visually. lmao I don't think I could PAY to have Scrooge break his arm every time he runs. They really need to do more testing before releasing this stuff, pretty sad when they release broken content that's paid for =/ The skin is cute, but not worth it if broken.

You can't actually save on the switch. You can share and use your phone to scan the QR code to save to your phone and then save that way.

I know I’m in the minority here, but I find discussions about cosmetic shops and items you CAN buy, but don’t need to, in order to play the game, useless. No one is forced to buy anything. Same goes with all other life service games now…like Overwatch or Diablo. You can play the game and ignore the in-game shop completely 🤷‍♀️ There will always be things in life you can’t or don’t want to afford, because you consider them too expensive, that’s how life is and that’s also just…well, capitalism. Anyone who actually has a serious problem with refraining from buying anything, or getting seriously sad because they can’t have a cosmetic item have a slight problem and should check on their consumerism behavior. Also….vote with your money. The amount of people I see on a daily basis who complain about the prices but still buy, are not acting up to what they are complaining about. As long as people still buy things, the prices will never drop in the shop. And I’m actually on the side of not minding payed story expansions at all….they need to make money when it goes free to play and I want this to get updated for years to come 🤷‍♀️
