I saw a DDV support post on Facebook. The user said they hadn't had blue chests spawn in a while. Support suggested they move decor around to find their blue chests. I had a blue chest that was half hidden in a large round bush. Maybe when I can't find one, even in furniture mode, it's inside some decor. I wish there was a feature that you could use to help find a blue chest once you have looked everywhere. I don't think it would be possible, but an interactive character scavenger hunt to find the missing blue chest would be cute. Where villagers would give you clues about where they saw it.

Me too! I have to work that day but I still am really excited. It will be so awesome I think. I am confused on the time it will be releasing in my time zone though. It said 8 pm which I feel like it is seriously late when most other time zones have it being released in the early morning. I am wondering if it was a typo and should be 8 am instead.

Actually I have a show that I love which wouldn't be socially accepted for a boy to watch *Winx Club* it's a show about a team of Fairies fighting against dark forces + they have some amazing songs. My brother used to love Hannah Montana. We would watch it together. He even stole some of my Hannah Montana toys from my room when we were kids lol. I know majority would say it is a girl show but any gender can watch any show as long as they love it!

I hate Daisy's house, it just kinda looks like they forgot to render the details on the house 😅 it doesn't fit the style of the other houses or anything because of the lack of detail. I thought it was a glitch when it first came out but I guess not. Maybe they'll change it in the update? 😬

I think what the person was talking about with the time bending is that the orange indicator that tells you where to go disappears and you have to keep pressing the button to ignite it again. I agree with them. I wish we could just press the button and follow it while running instead of having to keep stopping to press it again. It's rather annoying that's why I don't enjoy time bending.

I have 300 hours in this game, and only recently started actually enjoying the decorating aspect of it. I would agree with OP about the decorating hot take, if i had heard it a few weeks ago, but now I can say i do actually enjoy the decorating quests. I think its either something you enjoy from the beginning or you will learn to enjoy it as you play. I started playing the game because its Disney, not because its a decorating game 😅 but overall, in the start of the game, the decorating quests are much because you don't have all that many furniture items to use, its only becomes more fun late game when you can play around with more items.

My DDLV hot take is that I hate their grid system on the game. I can't freely place items down where I would like, similar to Sims4 where you can freely move items. Although, I am absolutely excited for item rotation that will be out soon. Maybe sometime in the future they will upgrade the grid also. Other than that, I just have to be more creative with where I place things. I love the game a lot and appreciate the devs who are constantly working on it.

Ok, the dress flying up is hilarious though....😂 As for the decorating comments, I totally get it. I have played The Sims since the beginning and it just gives the player so much freedom. It's an adjustment to come from that to DDV, but I also appreciate the challenge of decorating with the limitations. I feel for Switch players having that 3K item limit though. So excited for the expansion and your first bit of content with it!

I agree with the “hates decorating” person. I thought this was a Disney themed Animal Crossing. 😂. I was so surprised at all the dream snaps and star paths. I don’t like decorating but I still love this game. I actually like the decorating quests because it forces me to change up the valley and actually decorate.

I love decorating in DDV so much! Of course I also love the story, the quests, the characters, etc! But secretly I'm really looking forward to decorating in the new DLC once I've done all the quests there. I can't wait! Some people say they are bored in DDV. These must be people who don't like decorating. Mother Gothel is a much more interesting character than Vanellope, I think. I also like her house and I have no problem with her house not being able to move because I think the location of her house in the Glade is great! But I know my opinion of Mother Gothel and her house is rare. I also hope that it will be made easier to find the blue chests in the future. Sometimes I spend a lot of time looking for the blue chests when I actually want to use my time decorating the valley. Oh and MrStarInSky, one of the (many) reasons I watch your videos is because it is very easy for me to follow you. English is not my native language (as you probably noticed) and I think you speak very clearly and calmly, which means I can understand everything very well. Some other youtubers speak faster and more unclearly, which I find more difficult, so that's why I follow you instead of some other youtubers. The reason I mention this is just so you know, as a compliment and because there are without a doubt more people who don't have English as their native language who think the same way.

if you need dream light there is the option of going to a treasure island and picking up dream shards then crafting them into dreamlight

I used to play World of Warcraft until I hurt my wrist. What I liked most about that game was the quests. What I like about DDV is the quests. I don't decorate my valley but I will decorate for a Dreamsnap. I am looking forward to Wednesday. Thanks for the video.

I grew up watching Sailor moon too😊 nothing embarassing about it, it teaches you about friendships and not giving up and when I see what crap the kids are nowadays watching I'm happy that I grew up with Sailor Moon Also I need to lvl up all my characters asap some of them are still level 2 and I've been playing for 1 year😂😂😂

I think that Beast should get a human form dream style, but I was thinking that they should do Mickey’s Christmas Carol dream styles. Mickey’s would be his Bob Cratchit Outfit, Minnie’s would be Mrs. Cratchit, Scrooge Mduck’s would be his Scrooge outfit, Donald’s outfit would be his Nephew Fred Outfit, Daisy’s could be her Isabella outfit, Goofy’s would his Jacob Marley Outfit.

I'm a newb, I only bought the game 3 weeks ago, I was surprised to learn yesterday that I've already maxed my character's skill at level 40.... What's all that about? I've barely explored A Rift in Time as I wanted to play the game in order but I'm so excited for Storybook, I'm not sure if I'll be able to wait until it's on sale to buy it or if I'll cave and buy it tomorrow. It doesn't help that I've got next week off work so I'll have lots of time to play 🙈

I think they nerfed the universe hangout bonus though (likely because of the upcycling). I was doing a bunch of timebending recently to complete the EI achievements and Ariel did not give me dinglehoppers like she used to. 😭

I play on Switch and the item limit isn’t a deal breaker at all. Might be because I don’t need all my biomes heavily decorated and like a lot of it more natural though. I like the Christmas stuff but they need to actually use the word Christmas. Stop with the “tree of holiday cheer” stuff ugh. Call it what it is.

Many people don’t leave reviews. I didn’t leave a review until I watched this and I feel like many of the negative reviews are a bit unfair. I don’t own one game that didn’t have bugs etc. when first released. I expect there is going to be a need to issue fixes/patches. I know that there were some major issues for some and I also hope they have worked that out because I hate that they get so much negativity when they work so hard. I do feel many don’t check their settings, system, internet before assuming it’s the game that’s causing their issue (with regards to those still having issues). I own a Lenovo Legion Go, Legion, Xbox, and Switch Oled. I had some issues on my Switch and Xbox with crashing at first release but those issues have been solved for some time and it was still playable, just a bit annoying. I personally have spent many many hours in the expansion. It’s not my favorite but that’s just a cosmetic issue for me. I prefer more femininity to masculine features and A Rift felt very masculine to me. I still recommend it based on value and being well done.

In my opinion DDV must portuguese translate! When I made my lives playing DDV a lot of people asking about the game wheter the game have portuguese language is so dissapointed say NO. I had the previlege to learned english and understand everything however I saw a lot of people interesting to play in Brazil with the appropriate translation. Play in spanish is not a good option. I would like to say Brazilian voice actors are the best, especially when it comes to animation. Their talent and ability to bring characters to life with such emotion and energy is unmatched, making them stand out in the world of dubbing.😢

I use that biome as my prison. I felt so bad when I had to put Remy’s house and Sully’s house there because I ran out of room when Daisy and later Tiana showed up (her Restaurant is were Sully’s house used to be). Also if the Trust floating island has water then Maui is going there too

not excited. game has become a total cash grab now. Stupid to be spending hundreds of dollars every year. i would rather invest my money for when you retire because social security will not pay all your bills to keep the lifestyle you have now. trust me i made the stupid mistake of not doing this sooner. you may think this is stupid not do do this now but this fatal error by a lot of young people that never thinking about your future later in life. you will shocked on lower quality of life you will have later. something to think about.

I agree with the sentiment, but compared to a lot of other things $30/year on something that gives you 100s of hours of entertainment is not the worst deal, better than going to McDonald's or Starbucks 😊
