DISNEY Dreamlight Valley. This Is a HUGE ISSUE! These Memories are IMPOSSIBLE to Get!

There is a huge issue with collecting memories in DISNEY Dreamlight Valley, fragments don't drop from small night thorns and watering flowers, please fix this!

ALL daily night thorns are considered small. The large night thorns were the ones blocking the biome entrances. There are varying sizes daily but all are considered small. But yes, the memory mechanic will definitely have to be addressed at some point.

They might want to make it take a long time so you don't finish them all quickly and not have any left for the many future star paths. There are so many doors left in the castle.

+Im Not Batman:but I agree the memories are clearly there in patches at a time for good reasons. Plus you can’t always assume the critters will cough up a memory glowing orb sometimes you get dream shards,sometimes you don’t. Plus a lot of the missing memories might not be in the game yet they could be for the second half of the mainstoryline when fixing other stuff and those memory glowing orbs could be hidden somewhere else. Like not all cooking recipes always hide a memory glowing orb even though you can get glowing memory orbs from cooking you can’t assume you will get one every single time you cook a meal sometimes yes. And the cooking part isn’t even fully done yet so other memory glowing orbs could be in other recipes that aren’t in the game yet.

I’m trying to get the platinum for the PlayStation version. Some of the trophies are impossible until they add more characters. I would definitely have to be in it for the long haul to gain the Platinum. I don’t see that being a problem at the moment.

the memories are for busy work and to reveal the end game story to return the players memory of being the Leader of the valley (my opinion). the devs know the drop rates for some of the memories are extremely low and want it that way, This is not a game that you can speed run and get all the unlockables open , it is meant to be played for years, the game is technically still in development. wasting the devs time with tickets about memory drop rates just slows down the building of the full game

I feel so lucky that I just managed to exploit the watering flowers inside trick before they patched it, BUT since I thought I had more time to do this I didn't catch them all. The coins were getting to me in the end and I lost my patience a bit, so started doing some watering every day as a daily task in my flower room. After the patch I have nearly completed most of them, but missing about 1-4 on each of the memory pictures. I was so close, but then it got ripped away from my hands 😭

Put all the flowers in one biome in one area of the biome. All the dry flowers will be in that area( usually 3 or 4 flowers) it makes it so much easier.

I put them around the Well in each Biome. (Except for Plaza. That one's in front)

The only way I was able to get any from watering flowers was when the glitch of having them in the house still worked. I spent easily a few hours watering them while waiting for crops to grow.

I am missing the same 2 you are in progression of story line memories, so it must be normal. Just FYI 😊 I completely agree with you on this one, the rates are horrible! Absolutely no chances of getting memories even IF by luck you find a few dried up flowers!! Thanks again for the great content! 👍💯

+Kiersten Truman:they could come in during the next main storyline progression for memories like when you fix the remaining pillars that will be fixed in the next main storyline progression. Like when you have more than 18 to 20 characters in your valley/village.

The cave that ursula is trapped would be good for makeing the weather change alone with increasing fragments drops, alone with the dried flowers and the night thorns with all the thing it need drops the fragments. You know what i mean right. At a cost of the 5 to 10 shiny gems and 200 to 500 of the Vitalys Crystals because nothing is cheep. And you get way more uss for the shiny gems this way. At least now there a reason to use that cave.

I actually took advantage of the flowers in the house glitch before it was patched and only have one memory left. I had a huge group of flowers all close to each other and would just continuously water them. They didn't have to be dry. I LOVE the painting idea! I hope that becomes a reality!

You asked if you were missing any that we have: I have 12/14 of the top memories, but I have 33/37 of the "message" memories. Look in every new house you finish for your characters, and I found 1 on the ground of every new biome I unlocked.

I have the same case. Basically cooking and gardening are the greatest ways to get memories; and then fishing, digging, and mining might be OK, at least. "Getting rid of night thorns" and "watering flowers" are just insanely bad, maybe as for now. Probably the developers might help to make the process much faster or they find a way to make better tasks to get memories, eventually. Just wait and see, I suppose. Anyway, I was also wondering if hanging out would make a good idea to get certain memories based on the characters you hang out with. It might be possible to make when the game is fully released, at least

+TheWrongGlasses:I think they are trying to have us get memories from almost every single task that we do in dreamlightvalley since you can sometimes get memories from feeding certain animals if the animal doesn’t cough up something else. Even if some of them seems point it’s makes a good way to find all the memories by figuring out where all the memories are. Plus for all know there could be more memories in the actual game that we have to find and unlock since the game isn’t out yet since it’s not fully done yet. And half of the memories could be for the next part of the main storyline aka in the next part of the main storyline of the game. We all have to consider that we are playing the early access/beta version of the game and not the full fully done version of the game since all the cooking recipes aren’t done yet…etc…

I think you need to contact Gameloft and let them know what your issues are. I get memories pretty regularly from all these activities. The only one I can agree with is the night thorns. I think I've gotten maybe three out of clearing 100s of small night thorns.

Poor guy has never played World of Warcraft and grinded years for a mount and it shows. 😬 Love your content though just patience with a game in the beta stage still. Took me 5 years of a once a week tries to get my Ashes of A’lar mount (IYKYK) 🤯

And some could be in the next main storyline for the game so we have something to do after the first main storyline for the second main story line of the game. The game isn’t fully made. /done yet it’s still in early access/beta release.

+cyberlucy:that could be because not all the memory glowing orbs are hidden in the same places as each other and the missing ones could appear later on in the game when the second mainstoryline gets put into the game so some memories in the collection list might come later on down the line for memories. The game isn’t fully done yet let alone fully released yet since it’s still in beta version/early release until sometime in 2023. They might not want us to collect everything in one sitting that quickly. Since then we wouldn’t have to do anything to do after more new characters get released in the game and the memories list might not be complete for the number of memories that are fully in the actual game itself yet since we are just playing the early access version right now like with the gems there is still more gems coming later on just like after the diamonds we weren’t done finding gems at all yet.

I think I once got a memory from a dried up flower so I won’t call it a legend there’s just a chance the memories might not be in the same areas like some memories can appear from minning,watering dried up flowers,digging,feeding critters…etc… in different biomes it could be Based on the biomes itself like if you can’t find a dried up flower in one biome like if you can’t find a dried up flower dazzle beach try looking for dried up flowers in the meadow,the plaza,the sunlit plateau,the glade of trust,frosted heights or the forgotten lands. Since you can only water like 2 dried up flowers a day and they don’t always stay in the same biome from day to day. I think the dried up flowers end up switching biomes aka to a different spot in the valley/village. Somewhere where the flowers get watered that day.

+Misa Velvet:the game isn’t fully out yet plus maybe we have to complete all the memories total in the actual game when it gets released there could be end prizes that we don’t know about yet for collecting all the memories and all the poster pictures or whatever, the game isn’t fully done yet it’s still being made so there could be something else while we still get to decorate our house with pictures of the memories.

I put all the flowers from their respective Biomes around my Wells. So much easier to see and water the dried ones! Not sure if this will help, but I've actually gotten a few Memories from watering flowers this way!

I have been able to water flowers that weren't dried up and still got memories from it. I put them outside in a square of like 8 by 8 (there's one type that only takes up a 1 piece block, so you can have lots of them clustered close together, can't remember which one it was though). I stood in the center of my square of flowers and watered. This was a while ago (pretty boring, so I didn't keep it up), so I'm not sure if it still works. It did sometimes take like watering them like 10 times before a memory dropped though, so patience is key (obviously I didn't have the patience though, lol).

You can water flowers even when they are not dry and get memorys. Best ist to get the smalest flowers that only take one space (yes some take up to 9 i think?) very close to each other (via furinute) and just water them like this. With a whole energy bar i got like 10 - 16 Memorys

It’s not really rare. you water dried out flowers aka flowers that are brown in color when you find them that need watering are the dried out flowers you need water.

Completely agree. I only get coins anymore, yet sooooo many unfinished puzzles. I until seeing this vid just assumed it's because no new ones have been added yet but then saw from your vid which I never actually checked out is from doing things. This is definitely a problem. I do A LOT of farming daily and I collect night thorns daily just to do the dailies as something to do until next update. Yet, I always only get coins and yes I also do a lot of cooking as well to keep my energy up with all my farming plus cooking for dailies. Hopefully if enough of us say something on discord something will change.

I have some of the memory pieces from watering flowers. I seem to remember getting a lot more dry flowers before the Scar update. I bet it’s because they increased the frequency of raining. One thing I noticed as I’ve been using a lot of flowers as decorations is the more you have the more likely some may be dry.

@@vivienlyle13 I think it’s based on the biome since you have to water at least like 2 dried out flowers a day sometimes maybe 3 and they aren’t always in the same biomes from day to day. They just mainly switch the biomes that have dried flowers sometimes it’s the forgotten lands dried out flowers that need watering sometimes the dried out flowers are ones on dazzle beach…etc… I think the game goes by biomes for dried flowers and you can only do like maybe 2 to 3 dried out flowers a day for watering depending on which ones are brown and need watering. Since there’s a task in one of the duties sections that will say water 2 dry flowers a day or something about watering dried flowers so they most likely made it so people can’t get all the memories pieces at once in one day from the dried out flowers by watering dried out flowers. Since we would still need tasks to do daily even when the new characters get released into the game.

So people might have to go running around to find the dry flowers and check all the biomes from day to day and not just stop after checking one biome when the dried flowers could be in one of the other opposites biomes.

I'm more of a hardcore gamer. I've played the hardcore MMOs like WoW, Final Fantasys 11 and 14, etc, but also played 5 years of Farmville on Facebook. I play on PS4 and I've finished the 1100 Dreamlight tasks achievement already. In my opinion, I think the game inserts dried flowers ONLY when they offer you the task to water 2, like when you load the game for the 15th time that day since it crashes on you every 45 minutes. But when you load up the game, maybe the game inserts dried flowers and night thorns for those 2 tasks, and when you cleared out all the thorns for the day, perhaps it waits until the next new day to create more or even offer you the task if the dried flowers and thorns are already gone for that day.

about missing flowers - i had same problem awhile ago - issue was simply to much other stuff like fountains,benches,big trees where taking over the flowers spawning places,in other words get rid of selfplaced stuff.hope that helps;usefull info- make a flower room with multi chests inside your hous and fill it with every flowertype,do 3xchests for each area,3xmeadowflowers,3xplaza etc.

@@faithrosette1543 hi, in my case i put lots of park/garden stuff on the upper right side of plaza,like benches,flowers,pots,paths,fences,casibo,fountain etc and because of all my stuff the flowers did not spawn back , i couldt get the white/pink flower and blue bell one + several others that spawned on plaza only- so i started removing my park build and flowers come back, im focust on farming all spawn stuff from all bios and made 2 chest rooms in my house(has like 50 chests per room) i put all flowers,my earth,flowerearth in the chests ive made severall chest rooms like that - have 1 room just for all cooking items,a craft items room etc its so usefull for when u need any story progress items dont need to wander arround the map for a single type of item evermore lol also for gifs and to levelup new members i collect ALL biodome flowers of the day i play, from lv 5 on i spam flowers till they r max level.also put 2 chest next to each shop on every bio and fill those with the fish and with the food for your critters to save some time that way the first job you do on every gamestart is feeding critters and add biodome fish to your chest also each bioshop shows what to buy,buy the bags and plant them nearby i made small fields 20 blocks for each again time saver,do u know about the wood farming trick- simply remove all trees and bushes and place 4 trees of your own choise semiclose together on each bio,they respawn every 5/10 min after collecting them.i really love the game but dont like time related stuff its not fair for people that can only play late day.have fun see ya.

You can Water Flowers that don't need watering in your house. I cheesed it this way and I've collected ALL of the memories for watering flowers. Night Thorns, That is something different. I would imagine that would take FOREVER based on how long it takes to regenerate them.

No. Scrooge's store inventory is bugged. The bug is causing the store to have many repeats of items. Specifically, furniture. But the devs are looking into this.

+Earthrealm Warrior:there could be a point in collecting the memories since the game is only in beta release/early access plus Minnie said before we bought her back with the magnifier that whatever we were doing at that point was helping her and dream light valley itself even if we couldn’t see her. And the game isn’t fully done yet so collecting the memories could easily have a purpose since everyone in dream light valley should be remembering each other and not forgetting each other…etc… the memories are clearly in the game for good reasons.

Bro ifthisgives you an idea,I have 19 days gameplay, feed every animal daily forover a month now. I have only ever received 2memories for critters. Think ivewatered 6dry flowers. They just don't spawn. It definitely needs to be adjusted as you hit a wallwhere you can't progress if your a completionist. You literallyloseall sense ofprogression, and that willhurtthe playerbase as naturally we getoverit and will just uninstall sadly :(

They shouldn't have released the game until at least 50 percent of the doors were available and were close to releasing the other 50 percent. Once people have completed all the quests and upgraded everything. People are going to get bored and then move on to something else and the game will be forgotten. They need to fix the bugs also, I'm missing one of ursala paper which should be in goofy house and isn't there and unable to carry on with her quests and scrooge's.
